This is where I support the portal. If you can't get on the field with one program you should get the opportunity somewhere else. Congrats.

We recruited 3 corners in 2021. Chappell became a starter. Duece Harmon played a good bit. Norwood redshirted. Don't think it means he can't play, but he was a converted HS QB, so he had a lot to learn.
With the DB's we pulled in 2022, his choice makes 100% sense to me.

Yeah, I would think it’s pretty normal for a guy learning a new position to RS.
He won’t necessarily ply right away here either, but there is a path for him into the two deep if he performs

I think he has the chance to be really good, but he knew he was in an uphill battle for playing time at A&M.

I think he was injured which is why he didn't play this season.

Is he injury prone?

I was really shocked when the Hogs didn’t go after him at all when he decided to transfer. He let it known he want to play at Arkansas and they still didn’t offer.
Coaches must feel really good about the DBs on campus and headed to Arkansas

Seems to be quite the rivalry forming between Arkansas and Missouri

It's beginning to feel like one, now that they've finally beaten us.

I liked him as a recruit but the lack of experience at DB meant he had some development to do. I’m guessing with the red shirt and who we brought he wanted to get a little closer to home. He still has a chance to be really good IMO

I wasn’t even taking a shot. I think he could be a good one. It’s no secret he wanted to be a Hog.
For some reason we had no interest.
Good luck to the kid

It’s nothing more than a message board thing.
Most (almost all) Arkansas fans don’t deal with any Mizzou fans in life. They really aren’t around the south or in NWA anywhere. There are more fans of other teams in Springfield, MO than Mizzou fans

It just seems strange that Arky, who is losing all kinds of players to the portal (including a few DBs), would turn down a 4* home-state athlete. Either way, MIZ...
