Nice pick up, he should contribute immediately.

Can any Juco gurus compare him to DJ Daniels. I guess these are the top two corners and just wanted to see if both guys are SEC ready.

With his frame and those long arms, he seriously looks more like an NFL WR than a college CB. Dude is a physical specimen.

Justin is plugged in.

I guess we will find out. If he Qualifies, he's starting for us next year.
that being said, It's harder to get into A&M than Oregon. those facts are indisputable.

Thanks to Jackie Sherrill and Mississippi St, the SEC by far has the most stringent juco transfer rules.

we are not taking this kid the saturday before signing day if we dont think hes making it. he either has the grades, or we think we can process him in. either way, i have a hard time believing he wont be on campus after the spring

He has a 3.6 GPA in juco, it's literally in his hudl intro. He had grade issues in hs, which is why he went juco.
Justin Hopkins is the Taylor hamm of Oregon.

Hopkins claims he has a 0.0 and is failing every class this semester

I follow our insiders and he is dialed in. There is a lot more access to info with this staff vs previous. Anyway, there are no sour grapes on my part. I hope for Blades that Hopkins is wrong.

I saw where he said he pulled out a 3.0. Good for him. I hope he balls out.

Should get better info next time

It could very well be juco transfer credits. Oregon has weird rules on those. I passed along info from our best insider.

He just made you look like a fool.
Should ask for a refund.

There isn’t an insider that’s perfect. I passed along subscription info and it’s not like this place is active.

I didn't bump this to single you out as being wrong, I just think the Oregon internet community was doing a pretty big pet peeve of mine. A&M fans do it as well whenever Billy says something
People shouldn't just take what "insiders" say at face value as factual. They all get info from someone and that shite is inherently biased. Every bit of info should have context applied to it. In what universe does it make sense for A&M to take a kid 4 days before signing day if he wasn't going to end up at the school. If I'm just being frank, we aren't North Texas. Every single spot in our recruiting class has two backup options that would immediately commit to us with the snap if a finger. We don't need to play games with unnecessary grade risks, especially ones that are happening at signing day. If A&M is taking a kid at that point in time, he is going to make it. Either by honest academic achievement, or by us processing him in

I don’t like to put a kid on notice for being a grade risk. However, Hopkins was saying it well before the flip. Also, Blades could be worth the risk. That is an elite dude.
Also, Oregon has issues with Jucos more than other schools. It has to do with transfer credits.
