Committed to Mizzou tonight. Anyone have any insight on them? Seem like good pickups for us.

Don't know much about Brooks, but al.com put this out about his commitment:

Missouri landed a commitment from Bessemer City linebacker Jamal Brooks on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-1, 227-pound Brooks is a three-star recruit on the 247Sports composite.
Brooks had more than 20 offers, including Arkansas State, Cincinnati, Georgia Southern, Colorado State, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Troy, Tulane, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt and UAB.
But he will take his talents to the SEC.
"I'm going there because they believe in me," Brooks told AL.com. "The situation is great for me there. The defensive coordinator and linebacker coach are the same person (DeMontie Cross), the head coach (Barry Odom) played linebacker and they have a strong history of developing defensive talent to the fullest."
Brooks recorded 168 tackles as a junior for the Tigers, with eight forced fumbles and two interceptions.

The LB depth in Alabama is even crazier this year. Just not the headliners like last cycle.

I think Brooks is a victim of a deep LB class in AL & GA. Strikes me as one of those under the radar guys that could blow up. Good pickup

True. He will also have his 4th O-line coach and 3rd different offense starting this season.

Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback. I know they're just 3*s, but with a new staff and as bad as last season went, I'll take what I can get at this point.
