Composite #1 LB. Dawgs will lose a 5* LB on Wednesday but replaces him with a 5* LB. When Kirby lose a top commit, he replaces them with a top commit. Dam Dam Dam Kirby.

A Real Package Deal

Georgia commit Joseph Jonah-Ajonye and Justin Williams

Keep Shu as long as economically possible!
The fact that we’re getting this kid after signing 3 of the top 10 MLB’s last year makes this so much more impressive

Que up fans from whatever schools he was looking at posting how they never wanted him, he is at best a 3 star and what not...

No matter what they say, everyone wanted him
It was already obvious that Riddick would de-commit (seemed scared to compete with the 3 top 10 MLB’s signed in last years class and Auburn was offering crazy money) but I guess this was the commit that broke the camel’s back
Forget what fans say…. When 5 star recruits can’t get out of town quick enough for fear of competition you already know this guy is legit

Screw economically. Keep him until we can’t because he’s going to be a head coach.

You closed Williams quickly after you found out Riddick was Auburn. It was a good move by Kirby.
Your 5-star QB was told he had to compete for the starting position at a few big boy schools in Atlanta when he moved from California. Kirby wanted him to play pass and catch with a select few 5 star receivers. Kid decided on Buford not as much work for starting job.
Tell us wise one... what was the offer for Riddick? I am sure Hugh told you. Hang on to those excuses because there is a few more head to head you are going to lose and it has nothing to do with scared of competition.
By the way, Hugh and Staff have only been working together for 8 months.

Have you seen UGA’s current commitment list?
You can call them head to head battles all you want but the truth is our class is basically locked up and there’s only room for 2-3 more prospects
The media loves to use the headline “player ‘x’ chose school ‘y’ over GA!” Just because the kid had an offer from UGA
That doesn’t mean he was still being actively recruited by Kirby and company

More than that. We expect to take between 30-32.

Lol why trash a kid that you have zero clue what he's thinking?

You can't just be happy that your squad got a commit from a higher rated guy? (He's the #1 LB on composite). You have no clue if Riddick was "scared to compete" or what kind of "crazy money" Auburn offered him. JFC

Kirby can recruit (surprise)...congrats on the pickup.

Shoot your shot. Tell the board which uncommitted recruits UGA is actively pursuing now that will end up on the Plains in Auburn. I will even help you see below.

Here’s the list - UGA actively pursuing:
William Nwaneri, DE
KJ Bolden, S
LJ McCray, DL
Aydin Breeland, DT
Nate Frazier, RB
Chris Cole, LB
Kris Jones, LB

Which of those 7 end up at the BARN?
I’ll wait..

I think a lot fewer of those than you believe will end up at UGA

I named the ones UGA is going after.
Let me know where I said we were getting all of them.

Probably land 3-4 of those 7.

The point is other schools love to tout landing a commit over UGA - and some are legit obviously- but for every legit win over UGA - there are 6-7 “fake wins” where opposing fanbases tout recruiting wins over UGA on players Kirby&Co are not even pursuing.

I put the list out to let the board know - if you land those guys above - UGA fans will tip their cap - you beat us.

Just got the “all clear” for RB Nate Frazier to UGA tonight. Shutting down his recruitment.

There’s the first domino on the list.

Think about it this way. I have seen Auburn fans say that Auburn can offer early playing time. Isn't that basically what the other poster said, just from a different perspective? Yes, it was clunkier, but basically the same thing.

No, we don't but I do go to the Auburn recruiting board because we do go head to head for players, and i have seen Auburn posters plainly say that your NIL game was ramping up and y'all would have a great class because:

1. Freeze pays attention to recruiting more than your previous coaches (He obviously does)
2. Your NIL collective is getting more active and being effective.
3. You have a lot of early playing time to offer.

Why are y'all so defensive when other people say the same thing?

Yes, some posters on here are being clunkier when they say it. No, I don't think they know for certain.

People should stop repeating everything they hear, and Auburn fans should probably stop being so sensitive.

Williams is a great pickup, and Auburn did a great pickup with Riddick and Perry, the flip WR from Alabama. There is no doubt we are all dealing with a different Auburn animal recruiting wise. I know you guys have to be thrilled with what Freeze is doing right now.

Both of these have been mentioned in connection with Auburn. Most do not believe they can pull Frazier, but feel like they are in it for Bolden.

Georgia will continue to pull in top classes, but Alabama and Georgia will lose some coveted recruits to Auburn going forward. In the new world of a good recruiter at Auburn and NIL it only gets harder. It will come down to coaching and pregame preparation going forward. The days of us getting anybody we need with only a miss or two are over.

Ftr, I think we definitely get Frazier, and and it is more between us FSU and OSU for Bolden. But again, NIL can change things. Playing time will not be an issue because Bolden will play early for anybody.

Interesting. I mean I agree to a point. What do you predict? And ftr? He wasn't saying they would all end up at Georgia. he put out the list of players we were actively recruiting and asking which of those Big Tastey thought would end up at Auburn.

I could see us getting 4-5 of those and possibly as many as 5-6.
