Transfer portal + NIL + 12 game playoff = more opportunities for teams like:

Auburn
Texas
Oklahoma
USC-west
Tennessee

to get in the conversation every year. Without those 3 changes it was just gonna be the “BIG 3” (UGA, Bama, OSU).

Still believe those three will be at the top (plus LSU/Michigan) but the path will be harder and the 2nd tier gap will be smaller now.

and and it is more between us FSU and OSU for Bolden

OSU is out, and it’s down to FSU-AU for Bolden. Our side feels confident after getting the last visit, but I’m gonna wait and see cautiously optimistic

I assume you mean FSU-AU-UGA? Or do you believe we are out, also? We believe we are firmly in it, and lead. (Doesn't everybody think they are in it?)

Don't listen to these AU guys, Bolden is a Dawg!! He is just having fun with the process and toying with their fan bases.

I think a lot fewer of those than you believe will end up at UGA

I think UGA is certainly in it. IMHO, KJ personally likes Auburn, but think his family really wants him in Athens. More often than not, mama & co. win out, but we shall see.

What could possibly go wrong with this?

Auburn is red hot right now, so it wouldn't surprise me to see him in Auburn. Seems like we feel confident, but when Auburn is hot it is hard to stop the momentum.

What momentum? Auburn has no history of recruiting momentum. Their highest rated class was over a decade ago, #5. Every team gets a couple Blue Chips here and there. This year it looks like the wealth is being spread evenly across the top of the SEC. Auburn have been bad for so long its easy to see why they get a big head over a recruiting win.

Shoot your shot. Tell the board which uncommitted recruits UGA is actively pursuing now that will end up on the Plains in Auburn. I will even help you see below.
Here’s the list - UGA actively pursuing:
William Nwaneri, DE
KJ Bolden, S
LJ McCray,
DL Aydin Breeland, DT
Nate Frazier,
RB Chris Cole,
LB Kris Jones, LB

Which of those 7 end up at the BARN? I’ll wait..

Update on list from the insider I trust (SoFl Dawg - IYKYK)

Nwaneri, DE - he’s going to Mizzou - huge NIL offer and double UGAs

KJ Bolden, S - DAWG!

LJ McCray, DL/DE - UGA made a move this weekend and now leads. -likely not to commit until Sept/Oct

Aydin Breland, DL - not likely- probably Oregon

Nate Frazier, RB - DAWG!

Chris Cole, LB - he has a handler and is playing the game - UGA leads but doubt we close with him given the handler and NIL demands.

Kris Jones, LB - committed yesterday - DAWG

So that would be 4/7 (McCray, Bolden, Frazier & Jones) to UGA

Nwaneri - Mizzou
Breland - Oregon?
Cole - Creamsicles(TennRC or …)

Are you serious? they just flipped 5* Riddick from us and 5* WR Perry Thompson from Alabama. Alabama was in it for Riddick, too, so they beat Bama in both recruitments for two 5* players. Seems like pretty good momentum to me.

These were the first 5* that Auburn has committed in about 4-5 years.
