Any clue as to why he dropped in the rankings? Not a troll, just curious because I remember people talking about this kid some months ago, maybe around the time he was ranked 20th overall.

Watch the video someone linked above. You'll know why he dropped.

He didnt drop much at all on 247 sports own rankings. He was #48 before junior season in July of 2019 and then in February update this year they moved him to #70, which could just be a lot of movement in the rankings themselves with others and not necessarily him "Dropping" as a result of anything he did.

He dropped like a rock in the composite due to either ESPN or rivals in February (before 247 did their own rankings update). He was #16 in the country then dropped to #81 on Feb 13th. So either Rivals or ESPN was the culprit there.

He probably told t.u. "no thanks" and they "punished him" for it.

Because of one drill?

If that were the case, Moses would have dropped after Clyde broke his ankles.

Supposedly he looked really bad that whole camp.

Now, might not mean much but seeing dude slap them bags doesn’t inspire a whole lot of confidence

I'll trust O and Pelini's evaluation over your opinion.

Does this still stand for Wide Receiver Type shite? Or do LSU fans troll the recruiting board whenever the frick they want and the mods are too chicken shite to evenly enforce their own rules?

So glad that the prohibition on trolling is strictly enforced on this board.

Congrats, LSU. I think Jackson is going to be a really good college player.

It can be used either honestly

Also TAMU doesn't use it anymore

If you follow recruiting in general and Texas A&M specifically on Twitter, you know what #WRTS stands for. If you don’t, it’s an acronym for “We Run This State,” an inference that the Aggies rule the recruiting roost in the talent-rich state of Texas.

Those connected to the football program have begun to distance themselves from that particular hashtag, and there’s a very specific reason why.

The father of 2015 A&M signee Daylon Mack, ESPN.com writes, “filed for the trademark to #WRTS with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in June” while his son was a verbal commitment to the Aggies. In fact, the photo in the upper right is of Daylon Mack and was posted to Twitter in late May (since deleted).

I personally think A&M should stick with "Gone Fishin"

It's funny that a recruiting slogan from 5 years away is still being brought up. I guess it was effective.

Its a lot less applicable the way Jimbo recruits.

We landed a 4* or better from Texas, Illinois, Arkansas, New Jersey, North Carolina, Florida, Mississippi, Maryland, Missouri, Louisiana, and Kansas. We had 3* from Arizona, Tennessee, & Georgia. That is unheard of for A&M. You could go back a decade or two and not find that many quality out of state players.

K-Sum did have the Swagcopter as well It was just one of those things that was the "thing" at the time. Crazy that it was Daylon Mack with the trademark.

Sumlin had a lot of flaws, but he was needed at A&M. His rebranding and "swag" went a long way to change the image of A&M's football and bring things forward. He also (along with the JFF mania) really brought in some fundraising too which took our facilities from below avg to a leader.

Back to Jackson. He's a stud. Nice get. Hopefully, its not over yet. Yall remember to be nice to recruits because you never know when he'll flip or when your team will start recruiting him.

I was looking into Marcus Burris and he seems like he will still end up at A&M.

Well it was really an A&M and Texas thing going into recruiting that year with prospects going back and forth. LSU changed it around to

Take your fricking trolling to another thread.
Wasn’t it you Aggies crying last year about trolling on the Recruiting Board?
