Shea typically does the same.

He held out because after today, he knows this shite isn't over. When saban covets a high profile Louisiana player, especially one in baton rouge it's not over until ink meets paper and everyone knows it.

These folks will celebrate this evening as though they actually won a football game. I'm not shitting you, they will. But after it dies down and a few weeks pass, they'll get the nervies again. Especially when noises start leaking out about "secret visits" and shite like that. I live in Louisiana, believe me i know. Don't let 'em tell ya any different.

LSU fans are my friends, neighbors and co-workers. They know how shite like this rolls along when it comes to nick saban.

Chewing on it at the foot of my driveway or at work, they know this shite's far from over. On a discussion forum? Well they've got it locked up.

Admittedly, Bama has taken a bunch of high profile guys out of Louisiana for a while now. They are absolutely not taking it well now that they seem to be losing the grasp of that hot recruiting bed.

Get over yourselves. Your'e telling me a guy that publicly commits to his home state school 2x is just going to all of a sudden sign with Bama on signing day? Not happening guys.

This is a common misconception. They usually get 1 a cycle that they throw the bag at.

Yep. They usually never worry about missing out on a recruit because it doesn't happen. It's happening, and they know the replacements aren't even close to Roy's talent. They don't know how to handle it.

From 2015 to 2019, Alabama has recruited 10 high profile players out of the state of Louisiana.

Three right out of the state capital and and about four more, a 30 minute drive from the state capital.

Last season it was was Christian Harris and Ishmael sopsher.

Alabama averages about two blue chippers a year.

And this year they will average 0, which is why you are still holding out hope that Roy will flip in December.

Because LSU is finally getting a verbal from an elite player who attends high school on their own campus? Really?

This is Scott Woodward's contribution? LSU is finally meeting a base recruiting expectation and you frickers get your knees dirty over it?

Oky doky then.
