I've never understood why Oklahoma struggles with in-state talent at times.

Why stay in Oklahoma when you can not stay in Oklahoma?

Oklahoma and Texas are basically the same state. It's like comparing Alabama to Mississippi.

We all know nothing was, is, or will ever be like Texas.

They don't really struggle with kids from OK for the most part. It's a pretty rare thing for them to lose out on someone they wanted in this state, which makes it all the more surprising. And Shawnee is only like 40 miles from Norman.

Not a troll at all. The people of each state are similar. The landscape is similar. etc

Dallas and the panhandle yes. Houston and deep East TX are not like Oklahoma at all, much more like Louisiana actually
