I would have thought so but with us already having two QB commits for next year already its probably not an ideal situation for him now.
I know he really wanted to play with Cordale Boyd and Brandon Lewis because they are good friends but for all I know he might be mad at Arkansas. He was pretty vocal about how he was going to commit to Arkansas as soon as he got on campus for camp in the weeks leading up to our summer camp. Brandon Lewis' commitment was taken at it but not Jamil's. I didn't hear much, if anything, about him and Arkansas after last July. Either he was pissed at us for tellung him to wait at the time or the staff didnt like what they saw in person and passed completely.
If I was a coach though I would have taken him in a heartbeat. The improvement he made from his sophomore video to his most recent video I saw last fall was tremendous. I think he could be a hell of a QB for you guys with a couple more years of refinement.

Deon Mix from South Panola is leaning heavily to State. Rumor has it he may be nearing committing. Yancy has already started the "he's on down our board, needs to be evaluated by the staff" spin...so that's a good indication that he does not end up at Ole Miss.

He also doesn't fit into what Freeze wants in an Oline recruit... 340 and will probably be 350 or 360 when he finally gets to college. Id be happy if we got the kid but I wont lose any sleep if he ends up at State or anywhere else for that matter.

I personally think that Austin wr from Biloxi is next. Havent heard any reputable reporter say that, lets call it a hunch. We very well could get 1-2 more commits by monday
