First Pike, now Robinson. Chizik has made some very questionable decisions with these two.

Robinson's grades just came to light recently other than that what do you expect a coach to do?

Pike cleaned his act up like Chizik asked over the summer and cooled down at the end of recruitment. Chizik then removed him from the team this year when Pike's problems with drugs and alcohol came back. Smart move, instead of wasting a year or two at AU he moved on early saving a scholarship possibly for next year.

One tiny drop of Auburn blood in the water and the bats escape from the belfry again.

(Yeah, I know... mixed metaphor. But it was more accurate that way. )

Can someone tell me what this says?

Its from the twitter of Veazey w/ the Commercial Appeal. The tweet says he went to Jovon's house but you have to have an account to see the article

As long as the NCAA said he was eligible, what doesn't make sense?

Has the NCAA known about this for any length of time, or are they just finding out about it like everybody else?

As far as my comment about Pike AND Robinson together, I probably shouldn't have mentioned Robinson in the same breath as Pike. I was heated when I saw yet another "allegation" attached to an Auburn player, and I posted when my emotions were running high. I'll let it play out and see what's true and what's not pertaining to Robinson's ordeal.

But I take nothing back that I said about Pike. Chizik didn't take a chance on Pike. He knew EXACTLY what he was getting. The kid was REPEATEDLY suspended from games and kicked out of camps in high school. Chiz took a huge gamble based on Pike's potential, and to no one's surprise, it backfired. I've said from the beginning that everybody deserves second chances, and I hope Pike can turn his life around, but we gave the guy fourth and fifth chances. Should have pulled his scholly. Period.

We just need to get better at cheating. Clemson and Bama pull fast ones all the time and except for the Means debacle and now Paige, they are never are criticized. We seem to be in the news for something every week

ETA: Channing Ward is somehow supposed to qualify for Ole Miss and I got a box of bricks in my garage that could get a higher score on the SAT than him

Yeah, nobody backed off Ward because of his IQ. Alabama, FSU, and Arkansas all backed off Jovon after seeing his grades

Jovon's grades were essentially treated like the plague

Well, good time for Green to come on down. RBs are dropping like flies, especially wearing #5.

So over the past 8 months, we've had 3 players wear #5: Mike Dyer, Jovon Robinson, and Jake Holland. Now, we're left with only Holland

So what's going to happen to Holland? Clearly he's next in line here.

This does happen in three's, according to the OT.

Well this isn't quite death but some AU fans treat it the same.

My guess is Jake Holland has his hair cut off.
