It's always some AU cheating recruiting bullshite being tossed around.

I spoke to DE Carl Lawson tonight and he tells me as of now, he plans no official visits other than Auburn. Lawson was always solid and he's showing it with that move.
Good to hear. He's gotten a little overshadowed by Foster as of late, but he's the best pass rushing DE in the country imo. It's incredible to think how stacked we should be on D in the next couple years.

PM just posted another FYEO. A couple of interesting notes I'll paraphrase:
Don't read anything into the freshmen running with the 1s. Grimes wanted to throw them into the fire and see how they handled a real defensive line, and they played as you would expect freshmen to play against experienced defensive linemen. It's hurting us that Sullen has been out and Mack is indefinite to return.
Far better leadership this year compared to last.
OMac, Blakely, and Mason have all looked good and will get touches. (No mention of Grant)
Prosch is blocking well, but our running backs have to learn to be more patient in letting him get to his assignment.
Loeffler is happy with where we are right now at running back.
Also, Bryan still seems to Auburn has at least a 50/50 shot on Matthews if not better, but seems to think OJ is becoming more of a long shot.

This is always a common theme during camps, works itself out

Lawson is an even better, more well rounded, version of Noah Spence from last year's class.
Lawson is a premier WDE.

The Vols are definitely getting a great one in Lawson

I'm glad Rose landed somewhere quickly. It's too bad he didn't work out at AU. Didn't his father play at AU as well?

I can't wait to see CM on the field. When was the last time Auburn had a linebacker that was as physically imposing as he is?

PM, said that Moseley was with the qB but was not throwing... Also that Sullen did not appear to have any physical problems.

LSU's Tyrann Mathieu is the "Honey Badger", well Auburn's Philip Lutzenkirchen dubbed himself "Honey Bear" today at practice.
