No, I haven't changed my opinion. That *was* Chizik's defense.
And I'm sure you know that there isn't a chance in hell BVG would have came to Auburn if he had even had an inkling that he was just going to be running someone else's defense. And Chizik is a smart man and KNEW he had to make a drastic move on defense after 3 years of being pushed around.
So why you seem to think that this is some kind of contradiction is a bit puzzling.

You need to go back and watch some Minnesota games from 2008. DBs playing 8/10 yds off the WRs. Bad angles. Poor tackling. Obvious blitzing by the LBs. Inability to shed blocks.
It looks exactly the same as the crap on the field the past 3 years here. The only difference I've noticed is the occasional 3-4 look. And I expect you'll see the same thing in Happy Valley this year.
