This.

And I think guys do better in that situation cause they've already lost the job and the pressure is off.

Well I cant picture Moseley running down a defender for a block for Bray... Mosely is so slow.

Florida is going to have the best backup QB in the league...but auburn isn't any worse off there than the rest of us

You don't like him as a back up because he cried? He is a more than serviceable back up that struggled because the offensive line play was poor at best.

Tim Tebow cried and I would be ecstatic for him to be our back up.

Didn't CJ Uz.. used to play qb?
I don't think he completed any of his throws last year.

Tim tebow cried for a different reason. Not even comparable

Maybe he's not a bad backup, but I certainly don't want him seeing the field

Cried because he wanted to win so bad but didn't.

WhiteCam cried because he wanted to play so bad, but was passed over.

Pretty similar.

He then got thrown into his first start against LSU's defense on the road behind our over-matched o-line. Kid didn't have much of a chance. He isn't a great Qb, but I think he looks solid when given time.

ETA and FYI: None of our QBs are going to be any good if our o-line sucks again.

I have to agree with this. I really expect Frazier to be the starter and do well.

1) He's a crybaby
2) He's not a leader
3) He's terrible
4) Every game we won while he was starter, aside from Ole Miss, was not because of him.
5) I would take an inexperienced, talented quarterback over him any day. I could name more than a couple.

My personal opinion.

Which other SEC back ups would you rather have at AU for this season?

All of yall suck off Frazier and he has never even completed a foward pass.

Funny coming from the guy that wants to go all Sandusky over Jonathan Wallace. Gtfo with that weak sauce.

I would rather redshirt the young guy and play someone who has experience and actually played instead of wasting a year of eligibility and ruining whatever confidence he might have.

Look in all fairness to Mosely, our line was Swiss cheese last year. I think he still has something to offer as a b/u. Why would only Frazier improve with the tutelage of Loeffler and not Mosely? Some in here are getting a little rediculous.

Christian LeMay, Jeff Driskel, Jerraud Randell, Brandon Allen, Brandon Mitchell, Barry Brunetti, and Justin Worley for starters.

It isn't like Pike is a Heisman QB. The kid is raw as hell and has never taken a snap. I am glad he isn't coming. It frees up a scholly for one of the big dogs. Jeremy j. is our next QB, not Pike.

I gave Pike the benefit of the doubt. However, there is no good in keeping a kid that can't be level headed, and mature. I am disappointed, but we move on. With that said we need to get back to recruiting news for this thread.

So a bunch of guys with less experience or that played just as poorly as Moseley (except for Mitchell).

Moseley is a much better backup than most teams have, I don't see how yall disagree. Think about it:

If Mettenberger goes down, it's Stephen Rivers.
If McCarron goes down, it's Phillip Ely.
If Aaron Murray goes down, it's Hutson Mason.
If Connor Shaw goes down, it's Dylan Thompson.

I'd rather Moseley who has experience winning SEC games than any of those backups
