USCe has a great shot with Bryant, Spurrier called him personally and told him that he wanted him to come to USCe and be the next Lattimore, this is what supposedly led to the decommitment from Oklahoma.

Oh snap, game over for us then...move on guys, move on

Well Lattimore will be gone after this year and will probably be a first round pick., the pitch that Bryant could come on there and be the workhorse back as a true freshman would be pretty attractive I think.

Spoke to Illinois 4-star WR Laquon Treadwell tonight. Update tomorrow, official to Auburn likely.
Anyone got anything on this guy?

What is a good chOklahoma board? I want to watch the meltdown.

Well considering all of this smoke about Bryant decommitting has been coming from the AU side, I think AU has the inside track.

But Spurrier called him.... personally! I just hope SS doesn't call any of our other recruits so they stay committed.

We've been following Bryant closely since early spring....then, he stated to our 247Sports site that he had us in his top 3, along with Southern Cal and Notre Dame:

Florida RB strong on USC
By Phil Kornblut
USC is one of three schools at the top of the list right now with RB Greg Bryant (5-11 200) of Delray Beach, FL. “Southern Cal, South Carolina and Notre Dame are the schools I like the most,” Bryant said. “South Carolina, it’s in the SEC. Marcus Lattimore most likely will be leaving after next year and that will give me a chance to play early. And it seems like a good place to be. All of the top three are even.” Bryant visited Florida and Georgia last year. He will visit Oklahoma later this month and will try to make it to a USC spring practice. He’ll take an official visit to Southern Cal in the fall. Bryant is not sure when he’ll make a decision. He also has offers from Clemson, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Michigan State, North Carolina, Ohio State and Tennessee. Last season Bryant rushed for over 2000 yards and 25 touchdowns.
Dated March 13, '12
This was even before he first committed to Oklahoma, which he did on that visit mentioned in the quoted blurb, on Mar. 31st. Auburn moved up on his list later that spring, around May. We've always been at the top for him....
IMO, he's not a good fit for you guys.....you need to go get Derrick Green. Lol....

USC makes sense. There is no competition there. AU has a backlog at RB right now most underclassmen we have sophomores Grant and Mason, Freshman Blakely and Robinson. Jordan Wilkins as a recruit. Throw in Bryant that is 6 deep.

I'm sorry but USCe won't beat us on a recruit not from South Carolina. Plus the fact Bryant has already committed to our coaches
Posted on 7/31/12 at 12:43 am to AUcs13
I think it would've already been reported if he had committed to Auburn.

That's not entirely true. If Lattimore leaves next year for the NFL, they will have Wilds, Carson, Davis, Salley, Jamari Smith. I don't know any of these guys are how good they are, but USCe has some depth at RB. (I stole all this from Cockytalk

Wilds is their only decent RB that I know of and Bryant could most likely beat him out pretty easily, seems like Bryant is being guaranteed a starting job from day 1 if he goes to USCe, bad move by Spurrier IMO, but they are desperate for a good RB.
Not saying he won't go to Auburn, he very well may, just his interest in USCe seems to be legit too.

Our mods have been calling this for a couple weeks now. I think it's pretty clear he's told the AU coaches his plans
Posted on 7/31/12 at 1:21 am to AMM AU9893
So have USCe's mods, both schools seem to think that Bryant is a lock to commit to them.I was just in here reporting what a USCe friend of mine was telling me that he's been reading from the USCe insiders.I have no idea where he goes, no one probably does aside from that it looks like it will be Auburn or USCe.Good look with him.
