Well just go keep telling the USCe people they are right instead of trying to stir things up in the Auburn thread.

I've never seen you post something positive for Auburn

lol I just posted early that I think Auburn ends up with the second best class in the SEC and possibly in the nation, I'm not an Auburn hater, I am glad that the lest 3 NC's have been won by teams in our state.

That one post (which was still a shot at Auburn) does not make up for the 100+ other ones. The Rant threads are for badmouthing the other schools not the team recruiting threads.

USC posters on the MB say they think AU has a big lead. They said USCe leads for some other RB and expect Bryant to go to Auburn. And one of the more credible posters on CockyTalk said he thinks Bryant will commit to Auburn Wednesday

lol I just looked there all the posters I see are thinking they get Bryant, aside from one who thinks he commits to Auburn on Wednesday.

quotes

quote:

If what you say is right then Bryant SHOULD (unless anything changes) be a Gamecock.

quote:

I think he will be a Gamecock.

Maybe Auburn will get him though I really don't care, just saying I talk to a few USCe fans that follow recruiting very closely and they think Bryant is a USCe lock, doesn't mean that he actually is.

The posters that think they're getting Bryant are the same ones who think Derrick Green is a lock to Auburn, which leads to their confidence in getting Bryant

Yeah on that site that's the case.Good luck you guys def have a great shot at getting him, I didn't mean at all to say that you didn't, just my friend has been talking a couple of weeks like Bryant was a USCe lock so I was surprised to look in here and see you guys so confident you were going to get him.Seems to me now though that Auburn has the best shot unless Bryant is only worried about playing time.

Wilds is their only decent RB that I know of and Bryant could most likely beat him out pretty easily, seems like Bryant is being guaranteed a starting job from day 1 if he goes to USCe, bad move by Spurrier IMO, but they are desperate for a good RB.

Not saying he won't go to Auburn, he very well may, just his interest in USCe seems to be legit too.

We do feel that we have solid depth at RB....mostly high 3* talent, but we feel a little underrated: Wilds was a mid-level 3* per Rivals, but stepped up big time late last season when 4 other RBs ahead of him on the depth chart fell aside to various injuries.

Shon Carson was a high 3* who is a little smaller but much faster back (a sub-4.4 40 back). Carson earned the back-up role behind Lattimore early in the season over veterans Miles and Baker who were both injured, but he (Carson) too was lost for the season vs UGA with a torn ACL.

High 3* Kendrick Salley is an incoming larger back similar to Wilds, but who will most likely be red-shirted, as he too suffered a slight ACL tear during his senior season of high school.

And then there's Mike Davis: 4* and 7th RB nationally per Rivals. In 2013, if Lattimore returns, he'll be a senior, Wilds will be a junior, Carson will be a RS-sophomore, and Salley and Davis will be true sophomores (or RS-freshman for Salley if they go through with his red-shirt), and 3* Smith (commit in this year's class) will be true freshman...

But only Davis is a 4* out of all our backs, and only Wilds has proven himself thus far. Mason, Grant, Blakely, and Robinson are all 4* RBs, and so too is Wilkins if he sticks.....

It's all good, I have no problem with non-flaming opinions.

Agreed. If he really covets playing time, USCe would actually be a pretty smart choice.
