Aubies I just wanted to let you know that apparently I'm trying too hard to be unbiased because I like your recruiting class. Apparently being an Alabama fan and hating Auburn means you can't recognize that their class could be better than Alabama's.

Don't get me wrong I hate Auburn, but I'd take Liner and Lawson over a lot of guys in this class.

I would too.

I'm really excited about bowers too. He has the potential to be a stud 6'6 260-270 DE that we haven't had in a long time.

I keep thinking that Bowers ends up moving inside to DT. Mostly because I dont see him beating out Liner or lawson.

I don't see Liner staying small enough to play DE. He could be a nightmare at DT.

Possible. I think Liner moves inside before Bowers, but regardless, all 3 have extremely high ceilings.

If he redshirts and Lawson and Liner live up to their billing, he still has two years of eligibility to be a marquee player himself. God knows he needs the time for learning technique and putting on weight. I have a hard time believing Bowers is the one to move inside though

ETA: I heard about a month ago both from people who know Liner and friends who are in the progam that Liner was being recruited as a DE. Liner himself has said that is isn't opposed to playing DT though. Just curious why if he isn't opposed to DT why they wouldn't just recruit him as such if that is their plan

He is recruited to play DE. We are planning to have him at DE. However, he may grow into a DT over time, because he is still young and already really big.
