Damn, I was wanting Green. Will still be happy with Bryant, though.

Caleb Brantley told AuburnSports that he talked to Liner and Foster at The Opening and both were giving him the recruiting pitch to Auburn.

RF knew where he was going awhile before he decommitted from Bama which I guess we really knew all along.

I think Bryant knew Green was going to commit and is taking first action. Coaches are doing it right when top talent is jumping at a spot before another can.

OK, I've been thinking; we all know Deon Bush chose Miami (FL) over Auburn last season. Let's say Miami gets hammered here soon (probation, ala USC/PSU), and he's allowed to transfer anywhere without having to sit out...

Does Auburn take him if he wants to transfer here? We were his #2 choice, IIRC.

They'd have to get a 4 year bowl ban I think

I forgot about Miami. How'd PSU get an NCAA ruling before they did?

Were USC players able to transfer? I remember one defensive end transferring to Tennessee and being able to play right away, I think. I don't know all the rules...

His name was Malik Jackson.

Not sure, but they got a ruling before UNC, too...

It's probably because the NCAA didn't even investigate PSU. All they had to do was come up with the sanctions.
