Ill make my own determinate, don't need Rivals to tell me who is better.

I saw Wallace play in person at Auburn High. Was hoping we would start recruiting him them.

As for other school that recruiting, sometimes mistakes are made. Pretty obvious that Gus is not the greatest evaluator of talent at the QB position.

I'm very glad that Wallace is at Auburn, and believe he will lead us to a championship one day at QB.

Oh...

And if/when the coaching staff switches him to safety, what then?

Idk if y'all have said this, but Auburn got a basketball commitment today from a 6'3 SG named Brian Greene.

I like what little I've seen of him. Pretty good athlete with a good set of skills. A taller healthier version of Varez Ward.

Okay, so, to recap, Pike was a participant at the prestigious Elite 11 QB camp, is rated higher by every recruiting service on the web, has had quite a few BCS schools put their money where their mouth is and offer him a scholarship (remember, it's those coaches' jobs that are on the line here). Meanwhile, Wallace's best offer other than Auburn is a team from Conference USA.

Nevertheless, your analysis of Wallace from a single game clearly means that he is a better prospect than this kid from Kentucky that you've only read about.

BTW, what is so obvious about Malzahn's inability to evaluate talent? Kiehl Frazier was the national player of the year his senior season of high school...

Yes. It is not that difficult. Wallace > Pike. Not only in throwing the ball, but Wallace is a better person than Pike.

You have your opinion, I have mine. Ive seen Wallace in person. Ive seen film on Pike where his best plays are those that would be picked in the SEC.

Do I go? At 29, I sure hope not.

I teach in the greater Auburn area now and have a good friend on their coaching staff. So I try to catch at least one AHS game a year.

He's actually Mr Penny.... he couldn't live with the fact that we signed Zeke Pike.

also explains why he took a couple days off from the board last week.
