How? I can't remember Lutz ever dropping a ball.
Didn't Lutz drop a couple in the Bama game?
Of course, this was after he had injured his shoulder in the Ole Miss game but finished out the year before he had surgery, so there's that to be considered.

Auburn has offered 2014 OL Orlando Brown. Massive kid already 6'10 360lbs according to Rivals. Brown is the son of former NFL Orlando Brown (6'7 360lbs) who is famous for being hit in the eye by a ref with a penalty marker (had ball bearing in it). Big deal at the time, he shoved the ref and was suspended. But was out of the NFL for 3 season due to the injury.

Even better. Dont care if he every plays, just want him so he can be the first off the bus.

I'm pretty sure he has film on Rivals. Good pass rusher with a great motor

LOL!!!!
Our travel ball coach used to put or 4th batter at lead off against teams we hadn't played before. I asked him why. He said he wanted the other team to see a lead off homer in the first inning to let them know what was coming.....

I'm curious as to your reasoning here. Pike was an Elite 11 QB. Yeah, he's raw, but he has all the tools.

Elite 11 is meaningless, Neil Caudle was E11 also.
Pike throwing motion is horrible. He looks like Jordan Jefferson throwing the ball. He cannot read a D. Has bad accuracy. And is not a leader. A great QB had more TDs than picks in a weak Kentucky league. And should be able to will his team to victories. His best attribute is running at this point.
Wallace is raw also. But has pretty good accuracy, esp on the deep ball. He can run as well. Plus is very intelligent and is coach-able.

And Caudle had all the tools, too, he just got hurt too easily (he missed like 5 games his junior year of high school and then got hurt early in the second game of his senior year and didn't play again in high school). Not to mention that probably Neil's greatest attribute was his intelligence (three year academic honor roll) rather than his athletic prowess.
Now, that's not to say that Zeke Pike won't have a career similar to that of Neil Caudle, but one advantage he will have is the tutoring of new OC/QB coach Scot Loeffler, who is renowned for his work with QBs.
You don't get invited to the Elite 11 camp without being an exceptional specimen. If you look hard enough, you can find five stars who failed and two stars who succeeded. The point is that there is a great deal more to development than can be anticipated.
Beyond that, I will admit that I didn't know who Jonathan Wallace was until basically signing day. The offer list indicates to me that he probably isn't on quite the same level as Pike, either; the most impressive offer other than Auburn that Wallace had was Central Florida, while Pike had offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Clemson...
Now, again, I don't know which one will pan out better, but I do know that every one of those schools has better scouts than me (and, yes, you as well) to evaluate talent. Pretty sure Pike was rated better than Wallace on every recruiting site, as well. That's not to say that Wallace won't come in and be Randall Cunningham and take over, just that all the signs point toward Pike being the better college prospect.
By the way, didn't Tim Tebow struggle in high school, too? I ask that question honestly, because while I remember his team was devoid of talent outside of him, I don't know what their results were. I do know there were issues with his throwing motion (still are, actually, if you ask certain NFL guys), though, and the two are similarly sized. I don't think Pike will be Tebow, but I do think he'll be better than you seem to believe.

the in-depth analysis of Zeke Pike from a group of people who have probably never seen the man play a game continues to blow my mind.
wait and see... at least see him throw some meaningless A-Day snaps before completely trashing the kid.

No way Spark it's so much more fun dismissing all the good about a recruit. That way if he does in fact fail, or moved to TE, DE. They can say, see how smart I am. If Pike turns out to be a good qb they won't say a word, but go talk shite about the next recruit hoping to be right at some point.
That way they can make a post to proudly claim e-cred.

You need to remember it's done all in the name of being REAL my man.

Idk if y'all have said this, but Auburn got a basketball commitment today from a 6'3 SG named Brian Greene.
