unless frazier packed on 20 pounds this offseason I think 230 is a stretch. 20 pounds in an offseason would require extreme lifting and syringes
His "current" weight, listed on all sites, was also taken right when he arrived on campus as a true freshman. He lifted weights all last season and has gone through the weight program all summer. 230 pounds, for a guy like Frazier, isn't out of the question.

Is anybody else a little pissed off that the sanctions don't seem to be hurting USC at all? I really wanted to see them struggle under Lane for at least a few years.

The sanctions are going to hurt them once the they're over. Sure, they're getting some of the best players, but they'll have no depth whatsoever. In 2015, they'll only have 55 scholarship players. It'll hurt bad on defense

Maybe not, but to the naked eye he looked more like 210-215 in the iron bowl..230 is possible I just highly doubt that's his current weight

sanctions are definitely designed to hurt you in the longrun vs the short term.

he was never 215 last year. Was 220 plus the entire year IIRC from what his pops posted. Sounds like he's at/around 230 and has been so for a while now.

Did you guys recruit Darius Curry heavily? I know he committed to OSU a couple days ago, but I was just wondering because I'm going to his High School next year.

How many passes has the kid attempted? I think that shapes the perception.
If your perception is based on 12 passes as a freshmen, you lack something, mentally (not saying you, specifically).

And regarding comparisons to Frazier to the posters above....he's more of a Russell Wilson type of QB as opposed to a pure runner like Vick or Tebow or Young. Sure he has the shiftiness to be a runner but will do more running out of passing plays than designed runs like those 3 and Cam.

I see him having a similar or better career than Russell Wilson, and since he's about 3 inches taller as an 18 y/o I'd imagine he's plenty tall enough to play at the next level. Kiehl is a very, very smart kid as well and seems to have picked up the pro-style playbook well.

Like it's been said, in the longrun it will hurt them. But yes, I wanted USC to see some immediate pain

Not really. Martinez liked him, but VanGorder was much higher on Melton and Irvin-Sills

yeah... I could see this thing ending different than it stands today. If Rodgers doesn't end up an EE, or some guys fall into USCw's lap, I could see Rodgers ending up in auburn.

Ah, guessing a guys weight when he is wearing full pads. Genius.

Didn't realize we had an Auburn insider on here. I'll make sure to tell him he's a liar because an Alabama fan knows everything about Auburn and it's players.

Thanks for all you've brought to this thread.

ETA: Saw where Xzavier Dickson is listed at 262. Was 238 in HS. How'd he gain over 20 lbs in a year? Must be teh steroidz.

is your only purpose to flame?

And linebackers tend to be exposed to more strenuous lifting than QB's..not to mention bama S&C>AU S&C.

I don't think he weighs 230...that's my opinion and there is no way to know a players true height and weight until you see him on a scale, ala the NFL combine. Don't get your panties in a wad over it
