Also, with Wilkins, he is pretty much at the top of our board. Doubt the coaches would hold off, but it is possible.

He looks like he has filled out since his last recorded measurement of 5-foot-10 and 173 pounds, and he proved he could play press coverage and be physical with bigger receivers. The recovery speed is certainly there if Irvin-Sills gambles and misses at the line of scrimmage; but he plays such a disciplined brand of football, there were few times he was caught out of position on Saturday.

This is good to hear.

hell you could see just looking at his pictures that he is bigger than freakin' 173! Guy is jacked.

on another note on corners, Jonathan Jones was named ESPN's Georgia Track Athlete of the Year. His insane ability as a hurdler should translate well to the football field.

Tray Matthews says he and Foster have officially made a decision. They will have an announcement before the season.

In the premium article on ESPN, he says they will visit AU 2 or 3 more time before the season starts.

In my homer eyes, why would Matthews have to have an announcement if he's already committed to UGA?

decided on a school and we are the only two that knows. A couple people
are not going to like the decision, but we have to do what is best for
us. "

Because he is announcing with Foster and they are going to the same school. That article sounded very good for UGA.

I like the way you think but participating in an annoucement to say ruben is coming with him to UGA is more plan plausible.

Either way I still don't believe the two of them will be playing together.

if you're a UGA fan it did....to me, it sounded good for AU as well. They're visiting AU together 3-4 more times, love the coaching staff and Trooper.

I think, if anything UGA should be very, very, very worried right now about losing Matthews and Wiggins, along with the battle for Foster.

Yep it's plausible. But the part about visiting AU 3 more times before making the decision is positive for AU...IMO

What would be the purpose of planning that many trips to AU in a span of a month and half if you already know you're going to UGA?

Simply put, I think Foster spending every day around our coaching staff trumps a couple of trips to UGA here and there.

Could be wrong though, it's recruiting.

So after Reuben finishes his 3-day visit to Athens, they both decide where they are going to play.

Don't wanna get too optimistic here but...

#1, Reuben was back at the AU ath dep building within a day of that visit. #2, Matthews has visited AU more times than has been reported.

That's fine. But before that 3 day visit, he spent 100+ days in Auburn. Maybe he's seen what he needs to see from UGA and feels more comfy at AU

OR

He's going to UGA.

Just don't see the purpose of scheduling 3 more trips to AU if they're set on UGA. I could see one courtesy trip...but multiple trips?

Again, I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first or the last.

If they're decided to come to Auburn, why would they need to visit more times?....

if these two are truly a "package deal", then UGA is the odds on favorite (in my uneducated opinion). we'll see how it plays out... another plausible answer is they're both trolling AU fans hard and are both sticking with their commitments.

I just don't see any real senario that doesn't have Matthews going to UGA.
