I think we'll take 20-22.

If I had to make a mock class, I'd go with:

QB- Jeremy Johnson
RB- Jordan Wilkins
WR- Earnest Robinson, Isaiah Jones
TE- AJ Jackson
OL- Khaliel Rodgers, Wilson Bell
DL- Dee Liner, Carl Lawson, Tashawn Bower, Montravius Adams
LB- Trey Johnson, Cameron Toney, Jarrad Davis
DB- Kamryn Melton, Jahmere Irvin-Sills, Lemond Johnson
ATH- Jason Smith, Jayron Kearse
K/P- Jimmy Hutchinson, Daniel Carlson

1 last scholly going to Reuben Foster, another DB, another WR, or a FB

That would be a pretty strong class. God, that D line class would be amazing.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. BVG is gonna have some good players to work with in the near future.

That would be a really tall offensive class too. Every skill position but rb would be 6'3 or over

Earnest Robinson measured at 6'1 at the Auburn camp last weekend

But it's still a very good sized offensive class. Including the ATHs I have listed, no one would be shorter than 6'1

Jarrad Davis is listed at 6'2 200lbs.. I thought we were going for bigger LBs.

He's 210 lbs. But he has a long, lanky frame that will be able to hold 20-30 more pounds comfortably. By the time he plays in a few years, I expect he'll be 6'2 235ish, which is plenty big for an OLB

On a non-recruiting note, Hoke just tweeted this:

Auburn S & C coach Kevin Yoxall calls Dee Ford an "example" they hold up to the team for workouts, dedication
I'm not sure Nosa will be starting this year. Dee and Lemonier could be a terror of a duo off the edge

I think by the time NSD comes around we'll be able to take around 25 IMO. I think there is going to be some natural attrition and what not. Plus I'm not too sure Hutcherson is going to qualify.

I knew it would happen soon enough.

Sucks that it won't end soon.

Some "recruiting" expert talking up Saban for stealing Foster out of our backyard.

Do ppl do no research anymore?

That would be more than natural attrition to make that happen. We'll probably push a couple players out the door but I don't see us getting to 25

About 20 is our target this year. Just like last year we'll take as many top guys as we can get but if we miss on some we aren't going to go to a fall back position.

Rangers is correct. We've met most of our needs, and if we strike out down the stretch the coaches are going to look for the guys nearer to the top of their boards regardless of position rather than taking less talented players at positions of "need".

That should ensure that our roster is not packed full of fillers.

Tyshon Dye said in a recent article that Clemson and Auburn are his top 2. He and his mom both loved his latest trip to Clemson, but he wants to take his mom to Auburn before making any decisions.
