Supposedly, he's being recruited to play safety.

I know.

I just don't see the athleticism there that warrants such an early commitment.

Agreed, but apparently BVG sees something in him he likes. It will be fun seeing how he develops.

Nice, isn't Jason Smith suppose to commit soon?

Folks were saying he was about to last Sunday, but I can understand why if he held off with everything that happened.

Just read where Johnson will be an early enrollee, so he'll have some time to start working at safety.

fwiw...

?@JHokanson
Love the pickup of Lemond Johnson. Very athletic, fast, good build, Auburn recruiting him as a safety.

Lemond Johnson Sr. calls his son's commitment to Auburn, "a no brainer". Lemond Sr. is also Lemond Jr.'s DB coach at Cooper City.

Lemond Johnson will also be an early graduate. Only needs to pass two classes next fall to finish early.

Rueben Foster's mom signed a year lease on an apartment in Auburn and he will not be transfering from AHS according to B Matthews.

why wouldn't his mom just sign a 6 month lease since he is supposed to be an early enrollee?

I don't know much about him, but it does seem like a bit of a reach right now. Auburn coaches might've taken him for the sake of depth. I think it is imperative that we land a solid safety in this class, though. We are just too thin back there, unless we move a cornerback back there.

I think him wanting to be and him being an EE are 2 different things.

great...someone on the Bunker claiming they talked directly to Patrick Miller and he's thinking of transferring.

If he does, why in the world would he? If he gains weight, he has the potential to be a starter.

Da frick? Let me guess, LSU?

I knew I should've handed him a couple $100 dolla dolla bills y'all, when I saw him at Academy Sports...

I'll believe it when I see it, though.

After four years of being at Auburn and visiting other college towns where I got to meet players, I am amazed that some of them get qualified

Valedictorian or not, it's Mississippi we're talking about.
