One of the standouts I saw this afternoon was WR Marqui Hawkins from Carver in Columbus, Ga., who is a Florida commit.

Good to hear.

Where was this at?

The Auburn 7-on-7 team camp.

Also, we've offered Ryeshene Bronson, a 2014 WR from FL. He's got offers from Florida and South Carolina as well. Good size at 6'3

Good looking player. Florida is loaded in '13 with some elite WR's IMO.

A 2014 prospect that has really stood out is TE Christopher Herndon from Meadowcreek (Ga.) High School. He's every bit of 6-4, 230 and runs and jumps well. He's also a good basketball player and it shows on the field. I'll talk with him tomorrow afternoon.

WR Isaiah Jones has a teammate to watch at Milton (Fla.) High in 2014 ATH Andre Flakes. He's 5-9, 175 but fast and quick. He played half the season on defense and had 6 interceptions and then switched over to offense and helped them average about 35 ppg the second half of the season.

I watched one of Jones' game this afternoon -- he had a one-handed TD catch and leaping interception playing safety. He's a special player.

WR Justin Wyatt of Collins Hill in Suwannee, Ga., had about 7 TD's and one INT today to lead his team to a 6-0 record. He's a good player with offers from Cincy, Troy and Ohio.

The only other team I know is 6-0 is Greensboro (Ala.) High led by Jevontay Smith. Pretty sure Milton is 6-0 or 5-1 and Huntsville HS looked like it did well. If I get the playoff bracket for tomorrow here soon, I'll post it. Their plan is to have the playoffs and then let the final two play the championship in Jordan-Hare. First time they've done that and I think it's a great idea.

Could have sworn she hadn't been yet and that was why he was holding off. I'm not as "in" this year as I have been the last few, sadly.

No at this point he is just torn. Childhood favorite & Auburn. It's okay this is one of the few recruitments I am in the "know" about
He's tearing up our team camp though, Milton is 6-0

What in the hell are we talking about? The pics of college girls and Laura on the same page as posts about recruits mothers is a little confusing.

Auburn leads for 4* WR Isaiah Jones
quote:

“Auburn’s on top,” said the 4-star wide receiver from Milton (Fla.) High. “The coaches just treat me well. Everybody here is just real helpful.”
quote:

“They told me they want a big receiver and I fit what they want,” he said. “I love the way they treat me here. I just love being here.”
quote:

Jones is pointing to a mid-summer decision around the end June or early July. He plans to visit both Florida State and Louisville and probably return to Auburn before making a commitment.
quote:

“I like Auburn because it’s family and it feels like home,” he said. “Florida State is just something I grew up with and something I’ve been around when I was younger.”
