Looks like he really wanted to play in the SEC and was waiting on that AU offer and didn't get it

Considering all the recent comments, it doesn't seem like we'll be looking at anymore QBs unless something crazy happens.

I hope Loeffler really sees something in Johnson to pass on Rettig and Buchanan.

What's up folks?

I'm new to this board (under this name). I love to follow recruiting and doing farks (No freek), so I'll be here and on the Fark board.

Feelings on the Johnson deal....Did we...

Lose out on guys like Rettig,Bateman and settle?

Or

Was Johnson our #2 who we took after Bateman went down?

I don't think Bow9den knows how to photoshop things. I'd never seen him do it in the past, at least.

Well, the account has been dead for about two years and people always call new guys alters anyway.

Rum said he we let me out of jail back then, but I wanted a new start. I'll not be posting on the SEC rant anway.

It seems pretty obvious that our order was Bateman, Johnson, Buchanan/Rettig, Sandberg.

No coincidence that 24 hours after Johnson commits that Buchanan restructures his top 3 and Rettig pulls the trigger on LSU.

Sounds like Big Cat Weekend will be something extra special this year...

quote:

Auburn assistant coach Trooper Taylor says this year’s Big Cat will be bigger and better.

“Everything has been taken to a new level,” Taylor said. “It has grown even beyond our imagination and the expectations every year just go up.

“Each year we try to outdo the year before. We feel good about that and we’re going to continue to try and upgrade it every chance we get.”

quote:

About a dozen signees from each of the last three classes attended Big Cat. And it’s the bonds they form during the weekend that last the eight months until National Signing Day and beyond

quote:

Past Big Cats have included the recruits dividing up into teams and competing in events such as pie eating, pool and video games. But it’s more than just games. Auburn encourages recruits to bring their entire family and the coaches and support staff bring their’s along too.

quote:

While the first three Big Cats produced a commit or two during the events, it’s the days and weeks afterwards that the Tigers usually see the biggest impact on their commit list.

“It’s been a big momentum builder for us and just getting the kids on campus and them experiencing what Auburn is about is so important,” Taylor said.
