This is a horrible argument. Based on that logic, we should never sign another recruit because they haven't proven themselves at the collegiate level.

DURRRR.

I think you're misconstruing my logic Why would our biggest need be what we already have

A Bunker poster posted some knowledge from 2 BOL "insiders", one apparently called Sims' transfer the day before it happened and the other called the Yeldon and Taylor switches last year. Apparently these two say Foster will be reopening his recruitment this week.

Not sure if I believe this...

I don't know if the BOL "insiders" actually believe that or not.

But, if they do, you can take it to the bank.

No program has more well-connected insiders than Alabama. Info flows freely down the chain of command and through their network of boosters.

Hell, they know more about AU stuff than most "connected" AU guys do.

We don't already have receivers who can produce. At least not that we know of.

To increase the odds of finding consistent playmakers who can produce in the future, we need a larger pool of talent from which to draw.

It hasnt been posted by the two that I trust. Dixie or Boots. Plus, I dont really remember an insider calling the Sims transfer. The staff pretty much said for a few months that it was going to happen.

Yeah I'm not gonna buy into a Foster flip until it actually happens. I've seen him hype up Bama way too much.

ETA: But for those that can't access The Bunker, here's the posts:

Expect to hear from R Foster this week and expect

To hear him say he's going to open his recruitment back up. Have a good night. The good news is, if he does indeed flip and end up elsewhere im fairly certain we will still be beastmode at LB.

Here's what I've been told....not sure if true so TIFWIW. EVERYONE including our coaches were shocked and pissed about him switching to Auburn at the last second. He was set to go to Oxford. AHS tried to hire RF'S coach(not sure if they did).....who is a shady dude. He was fired in Georgia for illegal recruiting practices. I was told THIS MORNING by someone who is right more than he's wrong that it doesn't look good for us. Don't shoot the messenger, just passing along what I was told. Hope I'm dead wrong!

Well, I could have elaborated a little more. Im almost 99% sure there was nothing posted about him opening his recruitment. There are only 2 threads about Foster right now and they are both on that interview he gave that was already posted. Those are the weird posters that go ape shite anytime anything happens.

One poster that I really never heard of posted that we had something to worry about. That was the email from earlier. Shortly after, Charles Power jumped in and told everyone to chill the hell out He said that they still feel really good about Foster and he has shown no signs of flipping.

That's one thing I like about the staff over there. They hardly ever give any sort of lock for a recruit unless they know for sure and they dont do percentages. They just post what they know and they dont hold back either.

Not saying nothing is going on, but until the two insiders mentioned up in childs post or the staff says anything I'm not worried. The guy who posted that over there doesn't have better info than them

So if he does open his recruiting back up is Saban going to pull the offer like he threatens all the other recruits with?

If he opens his recruiting back up it's cause Saban told him to look around

If he keeps adding bad weight, I could see that happening.

I'm not buying the Foster flip yet, but I have absolutely no insight into that situation.

He would start day 1 at EITHER school PARTICULARLY if he enrolls early and is the bestLB to come out of GA/AL in a decade, just go watch film

Recruiting silly season fodder for now, I was told this morning that he led on UGA for months before reaffirming to Bama, and this is the same situation no BS, he's been telling loudmouth Troopah's son all the right things and that is where this sudden optimism on AU's side comes from and yes whoever said it is right there are POSTERS on BOL, certain insiders etc I will trust long before I trust any other insiders of any other programs. If the situation changes, and it could, you will hear it from me 1st

I'm buying it. Foster was given every opportunity to confirm his solid committment to Bama. He wouldn't. Even said there's a chance he'll flip and we just had to "wait and see".

He even went out the way to point out Bama isn't the only program that can put you in the NFL.

With all the time he's going to spend at the football complex in the next 9 months, I'd be shocked if he doesn't flip
