Bama pulled Kirven, Lake, Tomlinson, Taylor last year. That's 2 tackles and 2 ends to go with Pagan and Fanning entering their sophomore season. Alabama doesn't need Dlinemen anymore than auburn does and isn't going to reach on a kid that can't play

I'd actually say he has a better chance at an Auburn offer.

If by chance an lineman switches late, and chill Auburn fans I'm not saying it will, it's possible he will probably get a "1 week" type offer.

Bama's not taking a big DL class, and they really have their sight's set on most likely the last one in Walker.

I saw some red headed sheepdog with bama-bangs run thru the backyard in here the other day. Damn thing had an empty mini-keg hanging around its neck with a picture of some blond sketched on it in crayon. Poor thing had a long strand of fishing line hanging out of its mouth and when the fishing line got caught on the fence as he was trying to jump back out of the yard all hell broke loose. Seems that fishing line had a hook on the other end that was hanging out his arse and when the line caught on the fence the hook dug in. While licking the wound trying to get some relief that eagle claw hung up in his tongue. The harder he struggled with the nylon thread, the closer it came to pulling his head up his arse. The only thing left keeping his head from diving all the way in was that mini-keg but the smile on Laura McKeeman’s face was beginning to crack.

Right now, Ultric Jones is the absolute last defensive lineman Auburn would take, according to Bryan Matthews. Players that we would take before him are as followed: Montravius Adams, DeMarcus Walker, Kenny Bigelow, Keith Bryant, Davin Bellamy, De'Asian Richardson, and Courtney Miggins. Bryant Matthews also said that Auburn would take as many as 4-5 total, so there is a chance he eventually lands one if we took 5. I think the chances of that are around 5% right now, though. Very slim. I see him at State.

I just spoke to Alabama RB commit Tyren Jones. He's with his team at a 7v7 passing camp in Rome, Ga.
Here's a recap:
-Says he is 100% committed to the Tide
-Sounds like he would stick even if Henry commits. The more competition the better, he says.

As a RB, I'd take Jones over Henry every single time

Jones over Henry any day of the week. Jones WILL be a stud RB. Henry COULD be a stud WR/HB/TE/LB

My view of the young RB's is something like this

Jones (Ingram)
10penny (Humphreys)
Henry (Fowler with a little better balance)
Yeldon (Alexander)
Hart (not sure we have had one to equate him too so a blend of Johny Musso and Lenny Patrick)

Five different styles but each bring something good to the game.

I see Rivals has him listed at 6'3 241...

What position is Alabama recruiting him at, and if he's being recruited as a running back, what position does everyone think he'll actually end up at? I just can't see him at running back. He just looks like he could turn into a linebacker to me.

On campus at the camp he was 6'-2" and 231#. He is being recruited at as a RB but has also been talked to about maybe looking at H-back.

Did not like the interview questions at all. It was like the interviewer was trying to create doubt in Jones' mind. Good to know he's solid though

Definitely Jones. He's a blend of Marshall Faulk (who was actually Tyren's dad's back-up in high school and a friend of their family) and Ray Rice.

5'9", 205 pounds currently with around 4.43 speed.....likely around 215-218 pounds by his freshmen season at Bama and absolutely the best "footwork", quickest feet of any RB I've ever seen in person.

Barring injury.....look for 3,000 yards and around 45-50 TDs this year. Kid is in great shape and is ready to break several Georgia High School records this Fall.
