Good god this thread has gotten slow... depressing... We need a commitment!

Scarborough should be committing soon, he said he wants to do it this summer and considering he's been on UA's campus 100x more than anyone elses I'd say he'll be committing to the good guys, wants to be the first commit of the class. Hopefully Marlon Humphrey will jump on board soon after

Here you go:
Chase Litton
24/7 Profile
Highlights
-Tall, skinny kid. Nice frame though.
-Smooth delivery. Very good mechanics throwing the ball.
-Footwork needs some coaching. He bounces in the pocket a little too much.
-Needs a lot of work on his drops. His feet are completely underneath his body, whereas they need be spread so he can form a nice base.
-Good, not great arm strength. I never saw him rear back and gun one so he could throw harder if needed I guess. Threw a lot of rainbows on shorter passes.
-Good to see that he has experience taking snaps under center and running play action. However, his team mostly runs a shotgun spread.
-Does tend to throw sidearm while moving in the pocket which is fine, but he doesn't put much on it when he does this.
-Doesn't appear to be more than an average athlete.
-Quick release. Ball gets out in a hurry.
-Doesn't step into contact. Makes a lot of throws moving backwards and off his back foot.
-Must be pretty smart. I see that Notre Dame and Stanford are after him, along with LSU.
All in all, I think he's a pretty good QB. Most of his "problems" can be corrected with good coaching because his foundation is definitely solid. Granted, I haven't watch film on many 2014 guys yet, but if I had to guess I would say he should rank in the top 5-7 for QBs in next year's class.

I agree... with that said, who is our next commit?
Josh McNeil (i'm assuming his top 2 is us and UGA?)
Marquez White
DeMarcus Walker (might be back on campus this weekend)
Brendan Langley (if you believe him that Bama leads, some UGA fan interpret that as UGAy leads)
Derrick Henry
Jonathan Cook - ok, honestly i just put this guy here to appease Bucc. #DONOTWANT!
Or.. some off the radar guy. Another Darius Paige type? Taj Williams stated yesterday that Bama and South Carolina was in his top 2... I had not even heard of him. It wasn't long ago we all thought Nkemdiche, Poggi, Hackenberg (sorry Saint), etc.. would all be in Crimson. Things change so fast with these guys..

Consider me Paige's #1 fan. Finally watched that kid's film and hot damn that boy's a steal.

YOU DO WANT Cook!!!
& either of McNeil or D.Walker, still don't buy the whole Aug commitment date since he's bringing the whole group up to Ttown, something he hasn't done at any other school yet. I honestly think Langley is FAR from over. Another strong possibility is also Derrick Henry
Me & T Rey discussed Taj a bit last night, need to go watch film

Some of the 247 guys have said that Paige currently has some grade issues. Granted, he does have another year to pull them up, but the situation must be pretty bad for them to already be mentioning the possibility.

He's in a lot better shape than Deon Johnson. I actually like his chances to make it

I love his size (no homo) at 6'3 if it is legit... but im not sure if WR is where I like him. I do know some people are saying he would be even higher ranked if not for his injuries over the past 2 years.

You can pretty much plug "no homo" into anything about recruiting. In fact, let's change the thread title to "2013 Alabama Football Recruiting Thread. No Homo"

You are adamant about this kid. What makes Cook a better prospect than North?

Taj is a good player, but needs to put on serious weight. Has had a strange recruitment. He tried to commit to uf, then uga, but neither would take it
