It is because he has provided nothing of substance in the past except speculation or rehash of old news. Maybe now he will get legit sources and actually provide info. Two things Bone has always done in the past. If he has no clue he will give a vague answer in his response basically a guess, especially on chat. If he actually has something to report that is legit it is usually 12 hours old. He is clueless and I am convinced that when he does run with a big rumor he gets it from boards like this. Not saying he is the only one because their are many like him out there, like Laura and Gino and the list goes on.
I know he was calling LC to LSU prior to the announcement because he was scurrying around at the Under Armor event and overheard some recruit tell another recruit that LC said he was going to LSU and he quickly ran with it.
I will give him credit because he tries hard and maybe now he will have the resources to actually provide update to date info without using the real writers info or post from boards like this. If he has those type of resources available to him now he actually might end up being very good. But the jury is still out.

And yes he does give vague answers to chat questions if he doesn't know the answer with certainty, but who wouldn't in that situation? You don't see many other recruiting analysts doing that because you don't see many other recruiting analysts willing to put themselves on the spot by taking a hundred or so questions in real time.

There's a rumor floating around that there is a significant reason Dabo offered 2 more teammates and about to offer another, other than for Nkemdickey's sake, Dabo plans to ad Mickey Conn to Clemson's staff as a DB coach before 2013 (Granted he's still there). I had a friend tell me this yesterday and didn't believe Dabo would go that far to start offering future jobs, then a post pops up on 247 about it this morning.

It wouldn't be the 1st time a high school coach was offered a job in order to land a big time prospect. It also wouldn't be the first time that someone made up a bogus conspiracy theory to explain an unexpected decision by a big time recruit.

Why would he have to offer multiple Grayson players in order to get Conn? Wouldn't Conn take a job on the Clemson staff regardless?

UGA just hired one on RNs coaches as well to the staff. You honestly think UGA would go out a hire a position coach, I know before any puppy comes running to defend the hire, because we know CMR would never hire a coach to get a recruit, or offer a package deal to get a recruit, or use recruits to recruit for them, that he has been involved in GA HS athletics for 17 years now.
Sorry I doubt very seriously that someone who has never been involved in a role for major recruiting at college needless to say in the SEC would be hired as a director of recruiting for the an SEC college without some other motivation.
Maybe it will work out as well as their other package deals, but we will see. But to me it seems UGA hired the wrong coach.

Hey everybody, just a quick reminder that i'm at The Green Bar in Tuscaloosa tonight at 7:30. I've never played this spot, so don't kill me if it's shite. Make sure you laugh loud at Nic Guyton(moi) and my good friend Zachary Bragg from Tupelo, MS. Everyone else you can throw rotten fruit at. Nah, i've heard Mario and Tollie before and they are good. I assumed Conn would end up on staff at The Coma. In fact, someone alluded to that months ago(maybe Memphis????) about a reason Nkaoijkfj would end up at The Coma.

I don't think Dabo offers the Grayson kids for any reason to do with Conn. I think it is to solidify Nkemdiche. If all these kids are in the fold and RN starts looking then The Coma can subtly (or not so subtly) communicate that they are all a package. Wouldn't be the first time a school has put guilt on a kid to maintain his commitment. I wouldn't expect Dabo to do that, but who knows. Money - or the desire to keep making as much as he is - can make people do strange things.

Have heard this. The offer obviously wouldn't be extended until after NSD, and would be contingent upon RN siging. I think Mickey is a great coach with tons of experience. I could see him eventually getting a college assistant job without RN, but not this soon and not to a BCS school without college experience.
Also, I'd be shocked if they offered him the DB job. I think Charlie Harbison coaches DBs. There is no other position coach on that staff whose job appears in jeopardy, either. They'd have to accept a job elsewhere for Conn to get an on-field job in 2013. I could see them ofer him an off-field coaching position and then promote him when there is turnover (like we did with Jeremy Pruitt).

Between all the arrests, off the field issues and now Dabo/Conn's bullshite, the '92 team is starting to piss me off.
