Please join me in welcoming Andrew Bone to the Tidesports.com staff.
Andrew is a longtime veteran of the recruiting business with a strong background in covering Alabama's recruiting efforts.
He will not officially join us until July 1, but once his hire was official, we wanted to bring it to you, the subscriber, as soon as possible.
A couple of quick bullet points...
* Andrew will be our lead recruiting analyst, working to bring the latest breaking recruiting news to Tidesports, and will be a strong presence on the message board as well.
* Aaron Suttles, who has done some outstanding work covering recruiting for Tidesports, isn't going anywhere. He remains part of the staff and will be working, essentially, with Andrew as teammates. We expect the combination of Aaron and Andrew's work to be a major plus for Tidesports.com.
* We have a number of exciting plans in the works, including regular online chat sessions with Andrew, more extensive editions of the "Recruiting Corner", which will be collaborative efforts between Andrew and Aaron. ... The addition of Andrew will also allow Aaron to place a stronger emphasis on basketball recruiting coverage.
* As Andrew has always had a strong following on the Alabama recruiting scene, please make new Tidesports.com members who arrive as fans of his work feel welcome.

I guess Bone will at least bring a little more recruiting news to TideSports, they are really scraping the barrel at times.

A lot of hate on Bone. I think its kind of fricked up an unwarranted. Ive seen guys worship "insiders" on here who give out straight B.s. info, but you want to hate on bone bc he speaks in generalities about the chances of landing certain recruits.
Well guess what, thats recruiting...fickle and fluid. He does a pretty good job of not being a homer from what i have seen. Def a lot less of a homer then most of the Auburn analysts so thats funny to see Auburn ppl on here popping shots.
I am not going to sit here and tell you hes one of the best in business and for me hes def below Keith but he still does a decent enough job and although im sure he has great perks he prob doesnt make a ton of money doing it. So give me a break unless you have a lot of specific examples to back your shite up.
