I like that FSU offered, good to know one of the best DL coaches out there likes Paige.
He's solid though IMO, but Haggins is a great recruiter too. I'm not gonna worry about him flipping though...
ETA: And B.T.W's coach Mike Smith has a good relationship with Lance Thompson, LT coached him in college.

Wonder if the offer had anything to do with Ivie committing to UF today? FSU wanted him badly, and Bama wanted him to camp for an offer.

Was Ivie expected? I know you said something about Riles being 1B with Walker, where did Ivie fit in?

Hell I think we take Rile and Walker.

And Fournette just committed to LSU... Let stuff unfold.

FWIW I was referring to something he said about Florida.
I think it will be Walker and someone else, Riles will end up at UF(they've been his leader).
Some of the top guys are saying things that could make it hard recruiting the position if they are serious. Walker claims he wants to be the star DL, so what happens if Adams or Nkemdiche wants to commit? And Adams has said something about not playing with Nkemdiche, do does Bama lose one for the other if they manage a commitment out of either?

I really dont understand why one great player wouldnt want to play with another. DOesnt make sense.

Mike Dyer didn't want to play with Lache Seastrunk back 2010. I have no clue why, but that was one of the many reasons we backed off of him.

SMH i understand that they play the same position but RN and Adams wont play the same position.

That's true. Good point. Although, Dyer was completely OK with us taking Lattimore, even though he ended up at South Carolina. I think Dyer hated Seastrunk's ego, which is funny considering the sucky attitude from Dyer...

They all seemed kind of cool when they were calling out CNS? Hold on that wasnt Dyer was it?

That was Seastrunk during a visit. I could see Dyer saying something like that (although, I don't think he did) but Lattimore is a good kid and I doubt he would've ever done that.

From a uga perspective, I have gotten a UF vibe with riles. Bell is mostly likely tosu or ut. If Mauger really did ask the coaches to reserve that spot for him, I am guessing Langley is on board as well. While I wouldn't doubt that the rn recruitment is far from over, didn't conn and dabo room together in college? I saw that somewhere but have no idea if true or not. Anyway, Clemson was always up there for him as well so I don't think the commitment was completely on the spur of the moment. A 2012 recruit was saying that rn was talking Clemson as far back as spring break.

Do you guys think y'all get both Vonn Bell and Antonio Connor or just I e of the two safeties.

Again, the word on the street is that tOSU is out in front for Bell.

No way in hell we could get the top 2 safeties in the nation with signing the number 1 in 2011 and 2012 Clinton-Dix and Collins, then Sunseri turned out to be one hell of a diamond in the rough, so those are our 3. I would expect to get Conner before Bell. Bell hasn't said anything about Alabama that I have seen. I would expect Tennessee for Bell. Eddie Williams the number 1 ATH from 2012 could play safety as well. Looks like Mark Barron to me

So how do you guys see Bama finishing with Rob Nkemdeche committing to Clemson.

Way too early to tell but since we have 18 and taking 25 isnt for sure and 7 being the highest we could take on top of giving Walker Jones a gray shirt. I would think DeMarcus Walker, Matthew Thomas, Derrick Henry, Alvin Kamara, Josh McNeil, Brendan Langley, and Robert Foster. Nkemdiche recruitment probably isnt over either. Adams and some others seem to be giving us a chance as well. Not sure about a lot that are sort of on our radar. But thats my best guess.

Also don't really know on Tim Williams and Kendall Beckwith. I could see us taking Beckwith if we have the spots, but im not sure really. Tim Williams... I just dont see it. We have enough Jacks.

I was under the assumption that of he doesnt get a Commitable offer from Bama he will sign elsewhere (State, Ole Miss, Arky, or Vandy)
The new 25 rule on signees really makes thing more difficult in terms of grey shirting.
