I thought Cook was all in love with Auburn??

He was, but we are done at cornerback...

It sucks too, I really wanted him. After BVG saw film on Irvin-Sills, he instantly jumped to, or very close to, the top of his cornerback board. I guess I'll have to trust him on it. He knows what he's doing. I think Cook would commit to Auburn or Alabama if given the chance.

Off topic:

The BOT will be voting on the addition of a "Champions Plaza" as well as new track and field facility.

“Consideration of Resolution authorizing execution of Construction Contract and approving scope and budget revisions to the Sam Bailey Track Stadium Renovation at UA (Stage IV)”

Do we need it? I would understand if we were actually succeeding. But can't we get a competent coach first? I'm not a supporter of the "If we build it, they will come" theory. I think we need to get a coach who doesn't suck arse, then build a new stadium when we are winning and people are actually showing up.

Coach Sarah Patterson

quote:

"I one time had an athletic director that called me in and told me that I needed to relax and enjoy my championships, because we just couldn't keep up with the Joneses," Patterson said. "I responded to him, 'With all due respect, sir, we are the Joneses.' And that's how I feel. If our facilities are the best, that helps you attract the best athletes."

arse. AD Robertson

quote:

What about Alabama's athletics director? Colleagues are quick to credit Moore.

"It goes back to the top, the vision he had to, No. 1, improve the facilities, and by improving the facilities, he was able to attract the top coaches in the country in each respective sport," Robertson said of Moore.

"And once the coaches got here, due to the facilities being in such great shape, they were able to recruit the top student-athletes. You get all of those three working together, it makes for a winning combination."

We absulutly need a new baseball stadium. Sewell-Thomas is an embarrassment. There's is no reason that Arkansas should ever have a better facility than us. And what's the downside? It's not like it's going to cause the athletic department to lose money.

He's ranked the #12 Safety, 4 star, on Scout.

I think it will be interesting to see. I think that Connor is a take no matter what JMHO. Shumpert can play on both sides of the ball but I think that it depends on if he is 100% or not right?

Very little but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. 247 thinks pretty highly of him
