OMG B/R is now reporting the Alabama has "No Chance" of repeating as NC in 2012. We should all just go to the Keys and forget about the season.

Just figured out who Henry may remind me of, if he comes to Bama. Roy Upchurch. Ole Roy was a screen catching nightmare. He was pretty big too. I think Henry will make us find a way to get him the ball.

Have you guys heard that we offered a long snapper?

Tinker is a senior this year.

They should just give Carson Tinker enough eligibility as he wants.

Cole Mazza, long snapper from Liberty High School in Bakersfield, Calif., camped this past weekend at the University of Alabama. The UCLA commitment became the first at his position offered by Tide head coach Nick Saban. Andrew Bone talked with Mazza about the time-line for a decision.
"I went for their special teams and kicking camp," Cole Mazza said of Alabama. "It was good. I did pretty good. Coach Saban pulled me in his office and told me they were going to have a staff meeting. They were going to decide if they were going to offer me or another guy. I spoke to coach Saban on Sunday, and he told me they were offering me.
"It was great. Coach Saban told me he has never offered a long snapper. It was very special to me. They are the defending national champions. It’s great to have the offer from them."
Mazza has been on the Alabama campus more than once and impressed with the overall program.
"My junior year I took two visits to Alabama," he said. "I went to their game against Vanderbilt and LSU. I love the way Saban runs his program. He is always doing the best thing for his program. That’s why they win so much.
"They have nice facilities. They are doing some construction right now. They are adding on to the weight room and working on the practice field. They are doing a lot of good stuff there."
Mazza doesn’t have much time to make a decision. Alabama will look quickly at other options if he decides not to change his commitment to the 2011 BCS National Champions.
"I am verbally committed to UCLA right now," Mazza said. "I am considering Alabama now. They gave me a timeline to consider. They only gave me a week. They said after a week there may not be a scholarship offer available.
"I am going to talk about everything with my family. I will probably try to string it out as long as I can. I want to take advantage of the opportunity. I want to decide what I really want to do. I just want to make the best decision for myself and family
