The fact that he has to make a statement makes it seem to me like he is flipping.

That's what I'm thinking, of course... I'm sure he is SUPER aware of everyone wondering what he was gonna do when he got back. So it could be a flip or a reassurance to UGA.

That is what you would think. If he plans on sticking with UGA, no need for a statement. I guess he could reaffirm his commitment and cancel visits or something. I would guess he is flipping based on that though.

In that case, he must get a lot of bang for his buck out of his legs. He doesn't have a very big lower body for a guy who weighs over 300 pounds.

I really don't know what it is that makes him look/have skinny legs. I'm not sure JW would be one to neglect a specific body part in the weight room. It could be that his upper body and chest is so big, he looks out of proportion.

I mean, look how wide he is:

He looks like a refrigerator in the chest and back.

I realize this is a recruiting thread..but let me ask a general questions please. If bama goes with their complete second Oline unit who do we see.. I realize Jones will be a rover if someone gets hurt and can play all 5 spots, but for my question who is the second unit?

Yep so the announcement could be for either school and since he made it public prior to the trip that he would decide when he got back he needs to let everyone know to a degree.

With completely backups and no starters subbing in at other positions.

Kellen Williams
Chad Lindsay
Ryan Kelly
Isaac Luatua
Austin Shepherd

Staff thinks they need a lot of work as a whole. But they'll never be on the field together as a 1st string line. You'd see some shuffling 1st.

Also, he would need a little time to call the UGA coaches and let them know he is flipping. If he wasn't flipping, there would be no need to contact the UGA coaches, and no need to set up a time to make a statement. He's getting his ducks in a row and announcing for Alabama.

From Uga rivals

According to twitter...Derrick Henry will Reply
discuss it over with his coaches and family, and release a statement too.

I made some calls, and I wouldn't read into the "Why would he make a statement to reaffirm his commitment?" argument, as we are told he is doing it to avoid all interviews at this time. He is worn out.

I have spoken with a few people close to the situation. Some say he is UGA, some say he'll flip, but none of them know. It is a gut feeling.

I know some might ask so I'll give mine. My gut feeling, not based on any confirming info, is that he will flip to Alabama. They are the team with the momentum right now. With that said, nothing would surprise me.
