I knew he wasn't the 6-3 I've seen for him, but I was hoping for at least 6-2.

I thought that he was a little taller also. Still, 6-0 is good size for a slot WR. I hope that he sticks somewhere on offense because he is a playmaker with the ball in his hands. Not a lot of people talk about him but he's as good as an athlete as you'll find in the country.

I'd rank it like this

1.) Script A in the white circle

2.) Script A by itself

3.) Angry elephant wal-mart logo thingy

4.)Literally an elephant fricking my grandmother

5.) Naked elephant ballet-ing through an A

I kind of like this old one.

But the 90s logo has always been my favorite too.

That logo will always be one of my favs. It is the one I grew up with.

My first toy Alabama uniform had this logo on it 432 years ago.

It is cheesy but at 3 years old I did not know the difference. The script A does have a much better market appeal.

Alabama running back commitment Altee Tenpenny of North Little Rock (Ark.) West participated in the Memphis NFTC over the weekend and received an invitation to The Opening in Oregon as a result of his performance. Tenpenny then headed to Tuscaloosa after the NFTC to spend some time around the Alabama program while the Crimson Tide were holding their prospect camp.

Tenpenny committed to Alabama on January 28, while in Tuscaloosa for a junior day.

“I didn’t participate in the camp- I went down there to get acquainted with the players and the other commits as well as talking with the coaches and just getting more familiar. I was there for three and a half days- I was there Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday,” said the 5-foot-11, 200-pounder.

Most of Tenpenny’s time on campus was spent with various members of the Crimson Tide coaching staff including Nick Saban, Burton Burns, and Scott Cochran.

“I really spent most of my time with my position coach, Coach Burns, and also spent some time with the strength and conditioning coach, Coach Cochran. It was great to get familiar with my position coach and the coach that will be coaching me throughout my college career. We were just talking about what he expected of me once I get up there and how to accomplish that.

“It was great talking to my future head coach. He was just asking me how I feel about being committed to Alabama and that they see me as being a good fit with the Alabama offense and that I could help them out. I enjoyed it.”

Tenpenny also spent a significant amount of time with a number of current Alabama players, fellow commits, and other uncommitted campers.

“Some of the players that I hung out with that are already on the team were Lamichael Fanning, D.J. Pettway, I met T.J. Yeldon and Eddie Lacy. I was really with Brent Calloway a lot. I got to talk to a couple of the freshmen too, like Geno Smith, Amari Cooper, Landon Collins, Dillon Lee, Reggie Ragland, and most of those people.

“Me and Cooper (Bateman) talked some. I talked to Dee (ArDarius Stewart). Me and Reuben (Foster) hung out every night with each other. There wasn’t really much to talk about with recruiting- we were just enjoying ourselves and our visit. There was one safety, I think he’s class of 2014, named Hootie (Laurence Jones). He’s a great player and a great kid. Me and him hung out a lot and I really like him.”

The top 50 prospect states he remains solid with Alabama and plans to visit Oklahoma and Arkansas in the coming weeks.

“I’m solid to Alabama, but I’m still going to take some visits. I think this upcoming Saturday there’s a camp up at Oklahoma, but I’m just going to be visits and talking with the coaches. I know there’s a one-day camp up at Arkansas and I’ll be taking a visit up there also.”

Tenpenny has a grade of 96 from 247Sports and is ranked as the no. 30 prospect in the nation, regardless of position.
