Yeah I hope we get Walker. Like Bucc said above, if we can land Walker and Nkemdiche, along with Paige, that would give us a really talented player at all 3 defensive line spots.
If only we could say the same about the O-Line in this class.

Ah he looks different than the other. Pretty big guy. I still think Alphonse Taylor is the dream NT

I think Howard and Foster both stick TBH.

1. It'd be awesome if his name wasn't BabyCam
2. I wish twitter would blow up and go to hell in a shitty ford pinto.

Twitter is the tits, but it's not a social network.

If it's any consolation, the ONLY team that pretty much CAN say that this cycle is Michigan, OL is not a very solid position this year

Yah Darius Paige is a monster physically, d'you see the other avi I had of his face close up with his "I'm gonna break you in half" look
And I agree on A. Taylor, especially since it seems that is the reason he came, but I also love what Paige has the chance to become, at the worst Chapman 2.0, at the best Dareus 2.0
And I hope we keep Howard as well, I have a better feeling about Foster, but neither is a good situation for Bama ATM

I don't like people of fame being touchable. It's weird. It ruins the fantasy. They either don't respond to you and then you feel like "frick that dick" or they say some dumb shite like LaMichael Fanning putting on twitter "Imma use a rubber on sumbody 2nite"
And then there's the whole aspect of not really knowing people. Like, facebook, 90% of the people you know. So when they're boring/unfunny, it's acceptable. They aren't supposed to be funny. But on twitter, unless you're promoting or breaking some news, then the who point is to be funny, and most people suck at that. So it ends up being everyone retweeting that Jenny Johnson count who uses "REALLY?" as a goddamn punchline(which I hate, but that's another story. Ex: 'Chris Brown just won a billboard award. fricking REALLY???')
Anyway, just limiting it to recruiting, i'm not so much of a fan of recruits being able to be contacted by someone who might not accurately represent our fanbase and puts them off.

Hayden Rettig just committed to LSU. I didn't even know they were recruiting him.
Posted on 5/22/12 at 8:54 am to TideSaint
Have you done a breakdown on him?
Posted on 5/22/12 at 8:55 am to Sandkhan
You're using it wrong. Its a personalized news source. Following athletes or celebrities is not the point.
Posted on 5/22/12 at 8:57 am to TreyAnastasio
Info hits Twitter before it does anywhere else. That's what I use it for.
Posted on 5/22/12 at 8:59 am to TreyAnastasio
I know. I don't really follow them but people retweet celeb shite and I see it. And the personalized news thing, I sorta do, but I can only follow like one writer per subject. Like I can only follow one Alabama guy because I don't want a gang of tweets all telling me that Wes Neighbors has decided to pursue academics only.

I know Auburn fans wanted Rettig. I wonder if Rettig committed to LSU because Auburn took JJ, or Auburn took JJ because they knew they weren't getting Rettig

Yeah. Give me a minute to find it. My post count has grown exponentially since this thread started.
I posted this on Page 476:
Hayden Rettig:
Rettig tore up his knee after 2 games of his Junior year so there isn't much film of him out there.
-He has nice size. Tall and thick.
-He's not a great athlete, and this was before the knee injury, but he did show some skills in moving around the pocket once it broke down.
-He looks to have an above average arm, definitely not an elite arm.
-I like his mechanics. His delivery is smooth, and he throws a pretty pass.
-I think his arm strength would increase if he set his feet and created more of a base with his legs though.
-His footwork needs a little work, but most high school QBs need work in that area. Nothing alarming for him, just needs to be more consistent in his drops.
-He appeared to lock on to one receiver a lot of the time, but he was a Sophomore so that's to be expected.
-Another kid with zero film taking a snap from under Center. (It's becoming a fricking epidemic)
All in all, this kid could be a very good player when it is all said and done. Anytime a player suffers an injury and misses significant time you wonder how they will recover, but he certainly has the tool set to be good.
I know Auburn fans like this guy and I can see why. His ranking is low right now, but with a good Senior season I could see him jump up to a 4 star and possibly be in the top 247 before February.
