So it appears that Leon Brown is our only legit shot at getting an OT at the moment. Am I the only one that is concerned about that?
Kind of. Good OTs are tough to find. Fluker will go pro after this season, but I get the impression that Cyrus will be a 4 year player. But yeah, after those two it's pretty thin.

The concern is the fact that he is in constant contact with 2 de facto Auburn recruiters 5 days a week if he stays at AHS.
Plus Trooper and Luper can go to as many games as they like since their sons are on the team. IDK about practices.

I stated the situation a while ago and that's all I will say. Both guys are the 2 most popular guys at the HS, and Foster is very close thanks to that, none of this was a coincidence

Cyrus will be 3 and out unless he gets hurt again

Dodd is an interior OL all the way. Bozeman can play Guard or Tackle but most project him to play Guard in college. Grant Hill could also play either Guard or Right Tackle.

He has the talent to do that and he may very well go that route, but I got the impression that he and his family were more concerned about college than football.

I would imagine so since they have money and their fathers are both Auburn football coaches. I don't think it's any secret that their fathers told them to go make friends with a consensus top 5 player in the country though.

I don't think Santa Marina gets an offer. He's really not that good. I know Cap was high on Grant Hill playing tackle, but I don't think he has the foot speed. I really like Leon Brown, even though he is light right now.

Them fricking over an Alabama player has nothing to do with Prosch. It was a totally different situation. He will be cleared.

Arbitrary and capricious, my friend. Good luck to the young man.

I have been thinking we have kinda been slacking on recruiting OL. Tunsil should be high on our list then, right.

I'm starting to get worried about our OT recruiting. I love Brandon Hill's potential, along with Brandon Greene's, but we are struggling for tackles in this class. Who knows, maybe we can flip Golson, but I doubt it. If we don't get Brown, we need to sign 3 OTs in the 2014 class.

Juco OT Trenton Brown is another big OT that we recently offered and has seen his stock rise a lot. At 6'7 and 350 he actually moves really well for his size. It will be interesting to see who we pursue at OT for this class as most of the focus has been on the interior OL lately.

Tunsil is going to either UGA or Florida. Pocic from IL is a good one, but I doubt he comes to Alabama.

Well Ray Goof and Jim Donnan didn't do Georgia any favors in the 90s. The Kiffin debacle killed UT because the toxic AD environment pretty much scared away a lot of top candidates. UF's downswing right now is a direct result of the downside of Meyer's win at all costs early years. Auburn will always have a boom /bust cycle due to an inherent lack of stability in their asst coaching ranks. Basically, the best thing a college program can do is find the right fit at head coach. It solidifies the program which can then recruit itself. Saban is the right fit for Bama. Richt is the right fit for Georgia.

I'm not worried about it. These guys will have to see that we could potentially have 3 1st rounders next year in Fluker, Barrett Jones, and Warmack.

Shamir Devine is another guy I hope we land. He has blown up in recent weeks, but I think he's going to Georgia.
