Maybe, but he may mess up the star ranking for the class.
Seriously though, I asked a similar question a week or so ago. I thought he'd be a big time recruit considering how much he was talked up several months ago. Not in the sense of a high ranking, but just more publicized.

I Only ask because he is on the verge of pulling the trigger for LSU. So my question and thirst for an answer was a bit conceited

Well hell, if that is all it takes then seeing Coach Saban's ring collection and all of the hardware in T-town would make it easy to pull him away from the dark side if for no other reason than just to piss Miles and company off.

I'll have to admit that I don't know anything about Karl Jr. (unless you are talking about the fast food burger ppl from California). Not enough attn has been given to him from tuscaloosa for me to know anything more than who his father is.
