Allen grew up a Bama fan but he had Bama and Florida pretty much even before he even visited UF so it wouldn't surprise me if he almost commited following his visit

OH shite! From that tweet I clicked on Williams link to his page & 247 lists 3 schools as "Warm" Bama, LSU, & FSU & it lists his recruiter from FSU as D Craig

Allen is going to commit to Bama on his trip. He was "close" to committing, but there was no way the kid was going to pop anywhere until he has seen Bama. It's coming later this month, and he will commit. The kid really loves UF, but UF is working against all things Bama when this kid was growing up
On the Burns situation, he probably committed early to Bama, and then thought about playing away from home. Tuscaloosa is pretty far from Miami. Rarely do kids from MNW pan out anyways, so IMO Bama isn't missing out on much.

If Bama was too far from home, youd have to think fsu is as well. Its only 3 hours closer. At least at bama there is a major airport close by.
