He was on my Top 5 list until we offered Allen. Maybe I can break the curse by not putting him on it again.
Seriously though, I've thought long and hard about our policy regarding not giving out committable offers until a QB camps and throws for us. I feel that may come back to bite us in the arse in the future. Luckily, Bateman is willing to wait, but others may not be as evidenced by kids committing to other schools even though they had "offers" from us.
I just hope we are doing the right thing.

I also just looked at 24/7's Top 25 for 2014 and all I can say is "WOW!!"
I knew Scarborough, Fournette, and Humphrey would be up there, but Latua is definitely a suprise.
Can anyone remember when a TE was ranked in the top 14 of his class?

And let us not forget that Sony Michel listed Alabama as his favorite earlier this year...

That boy isn't leaving Miami unless they really get the hammer from the NCAA

UM/FSU battle with UM leading handily.

Jones is a really good athlete. His size makes people think he's slow and unathletic but just pop in his film and you'll see he's not. Top 10 player in the state to me. Fits a 3-4 or 4-3 because of his size/athlaticism combination. Could play LB,DE,DT or TE in college. His body and athletic ability give him all those possibilities.

Michel didn't name us as his leader, he named us in his top 3. Miami and FSU are the top 2 and he definitely won't come here with us lookin at Scarbrough, Fournette, and Rock Thomas. Joseph Yearby and Dalvin Cook are the ones that named us their leaders and they are both very good RB prospects from the same school in Miami Central.

From what I gather he's kinda more of a quick twitch RB than power... Am I right?
I like him too... Live that Edward Paris has us high, also doesn't seem to be a kid who would get sucked into the UT junior day commitathon

PosTer on BOL who has been verified before as a coach in Ga at Langley's school just posted this:

quote:
I would still give GA the verrrrrrrrrry very very slight lead but Langley was wearing a Bama shirt today and got called to our coaches office yesterday (not sure if maybe Bama coaches came and saw him). Langley was abosuletly amazed by the draft success and honestly I think the only thing holding him back from committing here already is two things. First Brian Randolph and his relationship at UT and second the in-state influence he gets from everyone.I have changed my mind a lot since he started getting offers on where he would like and I am liking the looks of him signing with Bama more and more as it goes on. Another thing to think about is the growing relationship between him and other GA prospects in 2013, I've seen him tweeting back and forth with A.Kamara, T. Matthews and others..
