I did not include D Carter in my breakdown because I have no clue if he will ever touch the field. If he does then he would add greatly to the options, if he does not those options will likely be covered by Eddie Williams.
DC does not have the speed to be a long streak route guy. He would be our best WR to use in Dino, Box routes, Smash routes, and back shoulder throws. The best route he runs is 15 to 18 yards deep waggle inside/ comeback to the sideline. NO DB can cover that route the way he runs it.

I'm interested into how many different routes Dee Hart and TJ Yeldon may run.
Hart will likely do his best receiving with routes behind the LoS. Flares and screens.
Yeldon should be more active in the flats, shallow drags and wheel routes. The picture in my head is the way Alabama used S. Alexander on the deep wheel routes years ago.

Since we're talking about Hart, Chase Goodbread of Tidesports posted that according to a couple of his sources the rumors of Dee transferring are untrue.

That isn't surprising. He was the best RB on the field in the spring game. No idea why he would transfer.

rumors of Dee
Geez, ya gotta feel for the guy. First another fanbase starts a rumor that he pulled a blade on XD, now someones trying to say he doesnt want to be on the team anymore.

If Internet rumors bum him out that much, then man up. Life can suck, deal with it

LSU would not want a fat slow LB like that.

Sure. He was running against the first team defense and had almost 80 yards on 9 touches.

That's what they told me when I asked on their board

It is interesting that we're offering a LB this late. Could just be covering our bases.

The first Alec Morris - interview by AlabamaIntel with his QB coach
That was one of the more entertaining interviews I've read in a while. I like that he's been working with Alec on taking snaps from under center and preparing him for the craziness that is Alabama football.
The Brandon Lewis interview was very good too although I don't think he has 2 NC rings as the interviewer stated several times.

The second 2013 QB prospect Brayden Scott out of OK. I have heard his name a little but know nothing about him. What are your thoughts?
I like Scott, but not as much as Allen and Bateman. Thanks for thinking of me when it comes to QBs. I appreciate the thought.
On a side note, I think Scott is destined for Oklahoma since they missed out on Max Browne.

I missed the initial excitement over Bateman's comments due to being in San Antonio for work.
I read the latest update and decided to refresh myself on his ability. In doing so I noticed that his Junior highlight reel has been released since my first analysis. Here is the video:
Bateman's Junior Highlights
First off, he has gained some weight. He doesn't look as skinny as before. It appears to have been good weight as well.
Secondly, he has a terrible O-Line. I noticed a good number of mechanical issues were due to not having adequate protection and having a defender in his face.
He definitely has a strong arm and his footwork, when not pressured, is great.
One thing that was still lacking was his number of snaps from under center. I am always skeptical of kids who spend most of their time in the shotgun formation, but I know that is on his coaches, not him.
All in all, I like him more now than I did yesterday. Apparently 24/7 does as well since he moved up from #56 to #48 in the 2013 class rankings this week.
I'm starting to get the feeling that Bateman is our "guy" at the position in this class. While I was initially hesistant to endorse him, I'm starting to think he is the best fit for us.
I know his offer is conditional upon him throwing at camp in June, but he is ranked higher than AJ was coming out of his senior year, so that has to count for something.
I think Bateman is our QB in this class boys.
