BUFORD, Ga. -- The package deal with Reuben Foster and Tray Matthews just got a little sweeter.

Although Foster is committed to Alabama and Matthews to Georgia, the two Peach State standouts still insist they're going to play together at the next level, whether that be in Tuscaloosa or in Athens.

At Saturday's NFTC in Atlanta, Norcross, Ga., running back Alvin Kamara joined the party, announcing that he also would attend whichever school Foster and Matthews agreed upon. All three players are ranked in the ESPN 150.

"All I can say about my decision is ask Reuben and Tray," Kamara said. "We discussed things together, and when we iron it out, we will see. Tray's pulling me one way. Reuben's pulling me the other. It's all fun."
Foster, a five-star linebacker who just transferred from Troup High School in LaGrange, Ga., to Auburn (Ala.) High School, already has started working on Kamara to join him at Alabama.

"Alvin, he's going to join the club," Foster said. "I'm going to make sure he joins the club. He's been asking, 'How is Alabama? Be real with me.' I just tell him Alabama is a great school, nice facilities, good people, family, good coaches, NFL."

Recently, Kamara spent five days in Tuscaloosa where he watched practice, sat in on the running back meetings and got an overall feel for how everyday life would be on campus at UA.

However, he stayed home last weekend when both Alabama and Georgia hosted their spring games, not tipping his hat to either school. Matthews, a top safety from Newnan, Ga., is still confident he can pull both Kamara and Foster to UGA with him.

"Everybody knows I am committed to Georgia, and we are still going to the same college," Matthews said. "It is going to be crazy. Everybody is going to find out at the beginning of our senior season where we are going."

Matthews committed to Georgia last August, but that hasn't stopped other schools from recruiting him, mainly Alabama. He says he receivers letters daily from the Crimson Tide, and it's at least piqued his interest.

"We're all playing the recruiting game, and I can't lie, Alabama's a great school," Matthews said. "They say if you play for Nick Saban, you're going to come out a warrior, and he's the defensive back coach. That's just a pathway into the NFL."
According to Foster, he and Matthews might be visiting Alabama together in the near future, and he's going to push for Matthews to switch his commitment on the trip.

"We're going to go to Alabama soon, very, very soon," Foster said. "I'm going to finesse him to commit. He's on my side of town."

Regardless of where all three prospects end up, the trio reached another goal on Saturday when all three earned an invite to The Opening. In all, seven players from the Atlanta NFTC earned an invite and will make the trip to Oregon in early July to compete at Nike's premier camp event.

"It feels great, because I was watching it last year when guys like Mike Davis and Kenyan Drake and all those guys were out there," Kamara said. "This is a great opportunity."

"It's a blessing," Matthews said. "It just shows that hard work pays off. I couldn't ask for anything better right now. I'm just glad I came out here."

you'll def see it with Bell & gonna be some Dino double posts, important to remember there will be better skilled WRs as well as Nuss' philosophy for a WR is much more set routes than reads & option routes

Here is a good example of a double dino not seen run at Aday, but they worked on quite a bit in practices:

Key is WR X to get on the front shoulder of the CB, this gives a nice cushion. We will have a great chance with the better WR sets and his passing plays are a lot more complicated

Some very interesting quotes in there from Tray. A flip might be a lot more possible than I thought.

I think it's almost a given he will be in the slot if he comes to UA.

That is the Dino light for the red zone. The one I am hoping to see is the same basic set but the Z does a deep smash with QB on a 7 step drift right. W flattens when the safety follows and the X route is 3 step post, 3 step cornershake and skiinier post to stay clear of the safety.

yeah thats me as well he just looks like a more typical power running game back who could carry it 25+ a game and still be running hard late in the game
