Holy crap Dillon Lawson BETTER go to Bama or else that'll make for some awkward locker room moments...

And if he was blown away by the swamp all it would take is 1 visit to Ttown to see BDS lit up and he'd likely flip on the spot, o know Reuben came awfully close to commiting to UGA because of Tray Matthews at Dawg Day or whatever the hell it is, and all it took for him was that 1 visit and he commited...why? Because he was raised as a HUGE Bama fan, got his offer and was done, and HE doesn't even have a tatoo. Truth be told though I haven't heard of him so will we offer? We shall see, I'm gonna go see what his BOL rating is

Way down the list in the 300's and rather small at 215, we got bigger fish to fry, the definition of being selective is not offering him sadly

BOL reporting that Georgia DB commit Shaq Wiggins is visiting today along with 2014 prospects DeMarre Kitt and Cole Garvin.

Spoke with St. Thomas HC Rocco Cosulio this AM. Texas hasn't talked to him about Bosa, but he does know that Bosa has talked with Texas.

Per Coach Cosulio, Bosa has four right now: Alabama in front of Ohio State, Wisconsin and Florida.

There will be a fifth school added to the list around spring practice, if not before.

Using a ranking system to determine the interest of a coach is

If he shows up and impresses, he'll get an offer over the Summer. Boom told him he had the best LB film he'd seen this year, so either he's telling the truth or buttered him up to get a commitment. Regardless, he wanted him, and that holds some merit...

no I know but I watched film & you can't tell me that was a truthful statement, I hold no regard to rank, just knowing already he's too small, film didn't jump out, just a few of my thoughts, you are absolutely right that if he shows up & shows out in camp I'm all for an offer, but best film this year of a LB is a big stretch..

In other news...

Tray Matthews @Trigga_Tray28
Just got of the phone with alabama Coach Kirby Smart . Man @ShaqWiggins21 didn't tell me he was going io there today. Its all good thoughlol

.........UH OH........

Was told to watch this situation VERY closely by someone who would know

I said in the Tyren Jones thread that T. Matthews would see the light. All of the top players from your state or going to Alabama. Why would you stay?

Both, but Matthews much more than Wiggins, but admittedly the person I know is much closer to Matthews than Wiggins

Other than highlights on youtube, we can't see anything that Muschamp can get a hold of. I'm not saying it's true, but that was my other point. He said it to butter him up, so he wanted him enough to say that. And I'm sure Boom has seen full game footage that the school uses part of it's recruiting budget on.

When you make the statements you did above, it's kinda hard not to jump to the conclusion you are basing it off rankings. Even sounds like you had no clue about him until today. And I don't know if 6-3, 215 is "small". Bama isn't looking for a freshman starter with every prospect they're after. This is all hypothetical, so there's no telling what LB position he'd be recruited at. He plays DE/OLB right now, but that's by no means permanent...

Wiggins is also a late addition to AU's junior day this weekend. He might just be taking visits for fun

I actually like to see guys that size come in for the SAM. That kind of frame can have lots of muscle put on it. Speed plus size.

I haven't seen any film of the kid admittedly, but could he project at safety instead of LB?

I hope Bama recruits him as a safety, it may be UF's only chance at not getting flipped

Has he said he won't play safety?

Heck if I know, I don't follow recruiting that much. The kid looked pretty good shedding blockers.

Exactly, you can put weight on him as you please, instead having to take bad weight off, then putting good weight on. He has the speed and athleticism that fits what Bama has looked at with SAM in the past.

Another "off the grid" guy that intrigues me is Reginald Carter. I really like what I've seen of his closing speed. He's a tad smaller though at 6-1/6-0/6-2.

You have unknowingly stepped on the landmine that was my petpeeve about Kwon Alexander this past class

I wouldn't, too drastic. As the Gata said, he sheds blocks well. That's not something you push farther from the line, you get that talent as close as possible.

Only reason I asked is because he's around the same size as Barron if i'm not mistaken. I just have no clue if he has the ball skills of a DB.

SAM does seem like a good fit as well though.
