Mack is the same age as Saban. He’s going to be at UNC for 5+ years

It's a possibility but you can't guarantee that.

Kipp Adams just CBd him to Carolina, so that should just about do it.

If Mack dominates the state of North Carolina and handpicks a few from Florida/Georgia/Tidewater/DC then UNC is going to recruit at a Top 10 level every year.

Fair point...but that kid is only getting two competitive games per year on any big stage.

Seems like a waste of talent.

Interesting that 247 insiders are saying UNC but Rivals future forecasts are coming in for UGA...

DawgNation forum insider conceded the momentum that Grimes will initially commit to UNC but still predicts he signs with Dawgs - FWIW. Not much

As long as Dre Bly is there, he's going to UNC. Now, if Bly leaves for another job, I could see him flipping to UGA.

Bly’s not leaving so he’s UNC bound.

If Mack stays healthy, Tar Heels will be challenging Clemson in 2 years.

Laugh all you want.

In two years, Lawrence will be in the NFL and Howell will be a junior on his way to the Heisman. Mack will have 4 recruiting classes supporting Howell with 4* and 5* talent.

Drake Maye will be waiting in the wings.

You have to remember he has PTSD from Mack owning their little Ag school for 15 years. UNC should be very good as long as he locks down most of the in state talent, which he will always do.

North Carolina almost beat Clemson in year 1 with Mack, with a team that just came off of a 2-9 season.

North Carolina with Mack will be far more successful then A&M with Jimbo.

I despise A&M as much as anyone, but Mack has a little bit easier path than Jimbo. Clemson might be their only consistent competition.

Congrats on UNC for moving to 7-6 with the big win over Temple. It’s too bad the world beaters like App St were on the schedule. Did you win a single game over a p5 team with a winning record? Yeah Mack will have them in the playoffs soon even those he’s averaged 7 wins a year over the last 10 years.

You have to walk before you can run.

UNC won exactly 5 games in the two years preceding Mack’s arrival.

We also didn’t play a schedule full of 7-5 & 8-4 teams.
