Things on the Plains are way too quiet for my liking. They are due for one of those, "BAH GAWD THAT'S AUBURN'S MUSIC!!!!" years where they come out of nowhere to be one of the better teams in the conference.
The days of Goofy Gus lucking Auburn into a good season every few years by grinding a randomly good RB's knees into dust beside a team of upperclassmen are over. They'll be lucky to win 6 games.

4 teams go 7-2 in conference as no one really looks elite.
The tiebreakers actually put the 4th best of those teams into the SECCG which they lose and are subsequently left out of the playoffs fueling the outcry to ditch the SECCG.

National title or bust is a ridiculous standard.
Since 2022, Sark has gone 8-5, 12-2, 13-3, and 10-3, won the Big 12, made the CFP in 2023 and 2024, and in 2024 won two playoff games before losing in the semifinal...He’s also 3-2 vs OU, including 49-0 in 2022, 34-3 in 2024, and 23-6 in 2025..
I think this could be the year he does win a title. Definitely had our number of late, but Texas-OU can be cyclical. One team dominates for a few years and then the thing flips.
Things are set up nicely for Texas this season. A&M and LSU are big games. Ohio State is early so that outcome may not hurt them.

Kewan Lacy makes a bidniz decision in week 7 after averaging 60 yards a game and 1 TD because Frank Wilson insists on rotating out the running back that is finding success on the field.
