Texas at 9-3 probably has a better resume than Oregon at 11-1 given their schedule.

It almost happened with a 10-3 SEC team this year.
Watching SEC teams join the bandwagon to support that move because they didn’t like which team it was seemed like it might come back to haunt a few fanbases in the future.
