Really?

The one and only time AU hoisted the NC trophy in 50+ years was when Cammy Cam was leading the offense. What makes you think they can do it without a player like him?

Doesn't mean picking unlikely things isn't idi-fricking-otic. Picking an outcome based on the fact that it is possible, is stupid. Learn about probabilities and pick likely things to increase your chances of being right.

That being said, I'm higher on Auburn than most, I just don't think this is their year with respect to LSU.

I heard he was actually formed from Jason Campbell, Ronnie Brown, & Cadillac's combined semen.

So, go ahead and credit going undefeated just 7 years ago to him as well.

We also went undefeated in 2004 and we did not have Cam... Now my prediction for this season has been 9-3 and I am sticking to it..

Remember it was an Alabama fan that started this tread...

That is a good point. In 2004 you were only adding an offensive coordinator and your defense was pretty good the year before.

not gonna happen...especially with two new coordinators. Also, whos Auburn's starting QB again? Last time I checked Auburn Defense was atrocious. Oh and they just lost Michael Dyer to Ark St. Theyre looking at a 9 win season.

They'd be pleased as punch with a 9 win season. Because they'd "exceed expectations/predictions" again under Chizik. Just like "some" are happy about last years season, even though that team looked nothing like any Auburn team I've ever seen.

He didn't predict a National Championship, he predicted they would be undefeated going into the iron bowl. That happens on occasion and could possibly happen this upcoming season.

I'm just jacking around with the OP. I know it happens on occasion.

I just have doubts that a team that is still relatively young and inexperienced in some areas will be able to go through your favorable schedule unscathed leading up to the IB this year.

That's a tall task for a team that quite honestly played like crap last year. There's no way improvements won't be made. I'm just not sure those improvements will show up in the W-L column this season.

Me too. I don't think it will happen, but I have hope that it is possible.

I have no arguments with that either.

It's certainly possible. If Auburn catches LSU sleeping then they may have the momentum for the season. LSU isn't some infallible juggernaut (...bitch!), just a damn good football team.

But like another poster said... possible =/= probable. I expect 3-5 losses depending on shenanigans.

That's not even being realistic. Okay to have hope, but seriously, Auburn was not even close to the good teams they played last year. They still have no qb, and their defense has a long way to go. Even if they improve, and go 8-4 in regular season, they will still be well behind bama and lsu....and will likely lose at least a couple more....9-3 would be a great season for Auburn, but they are just as likely to go 7-5. The sec is very strong again this year, and auburn still has a ways to go.

You are so bitchy and jelly.

This happens and you know LSU can't win at JHS...just accept it and stop being so bitchy and jelly!
