This is a typical response. LSU fans have always cared , me included. I remember from 1980 till now. My family has followed since the 40’s. My point is, Alabama has had way more success than any other conference school, and nationally. But the years where Bama doesn’t dominate are discounted by some Tide fans. Can you just tip your cap and say see you next season.

I think 2002 was UGAs first appearance in the SEC Championship game. It took them a decade to finally make the game.

Texas A&M and Auburn didn't make a bowl game and the west had a losing record to the East. The West was awful. Just because LSU wasn't as bad as expected doesn't mean they were actually good or the rest of the West wasn't mediocre.
