I'll keep being right about Ben being better that Skal. I'm serene.

So will you still feel good about that if he's better than Skal but watching him play in the big dance instead?

I don't know what it is about Kentucky fans talking smack that is so adorable.

Its like Vandy getting big and bad.

We're talking basketball.

Kentucky is still, quite soundly, your Daddy.

Yes he did. Hield scored a lot at the end of the game. I think he took #1 title today.

How precious. The "Well we don't care" argument.

You beat Kentucky in one of two regular season matchups. Congrats. Everyone else sets the bar a little higher, like competing for a SEC regular season title and going to the NCAA Tournament.

But by all means, keep Johnny Jones because he's beaten UK at home.

I'm sure this would be your sentiment if you lost to Alabama or anyone worth a damn by 2 in football. You'd be creaming yourself if you ever came close to winning a game that mattered in football. But congrats, the only sport you're supposed to be good at, you managed to get rolled by a team that clearly doesn't care too much about.

We are only concerned about Ben becoming s first round pick. That is what makes "the most important night in your basketball tesm's history !" You get players drafted in the first round and it is more important than any championship . Just ask Cal, he said the same thing

LOL Kentucky sucks this year and they are taking it out on a better program this year. Too funny. refs for sure did not help LSU either the steal and lay up before half was legit there is your straight 2 there

Simmons is not the best player in college. Just because he is project to draft first doesn't mean shite winning college games.

Someone will draft a project. He has big holes in his shooting and being aggressive game.

As someone who doesn't have a dog in this fight... or to be precise dislikes Kentucky and LSU equally when it comes to basketball... I was really impressed with LSU's play against the #1 team in the country. I've said all along that I think LSU has a ton of talent on their team.

That having been said, I'm not too sure about their coach. They've found ways to lose games they should have won easily this year. That will happen sometimes in college basketball but its happened a few times too many this season.

Do they hang banners for moral victories in Red Stick? If so, the PMAC rafters must be a sight to behold.

if you give LSU.... South Carolina's head coach they are a top 5 team.

But if you give LSU south carolina's coach, they don't have Ben Simmmons

i'm not hating on the guy, i've seen legit superstars, I've played against legit superstars in high school /AAU circuit... Ben Simmons is the best of a shite bunch of freshman. if every possible thing went right he could be a 15x all star. But his shot is broke, his handles aren't anywhere near what a legit point forward's should be, his offensive basketball IQ is high but his defensive basketball IQ is laughable and he's not aggressive. Plus he could use another 10 pounds.

On top of all that he's a tweaner. He isn't big / agressive enough to be a legit 4. doesn't handle it well enough or shoot it well enough to be a 3.

He's literally a right handed lamar odom with less, much less handles
