If it is true that Corbin requested additional tests; and, that these same tests be performed on the vaccinated players as well.... then all Vandy players should have been tested.
Corbin may have requested additional test (I have yet to read a credible source confirming this though) but he didn’t say to test the vaccinated kids. The NCAA did that, once the 2 unvaccinated players (showing symptoms) tested positive. And the whole “then everyone should have been tested” narrative is tried and true. Because once those 2 tested positive; and then the additional 4; the entire Vandy team then had to be tested as well. They all came back negative… how by any stretch of the imagination, is this a “sneaky move” by Corbin? If anything it’s a sneaky move by NC States coach, trying to push his luck, and getting caught.
I really, really can not understand why people are so upset and appalled that the NCAA chose to enforce rules; that every team, before even stepping foot on the diamond; agreed to… it’s like people are angry like “how dare they make my team get tested” when in reality it wouldn’t have mattered who or what name you had across your jersey; once those kids showed symptoms; and tested positive, there was nothing that could have been done then.
The fault and real issue lies with the nc state coach and medical staff bc they had kids complaining of symptoms after the supers. One could venture on and say had the coach enforced everyone getting a vaccine, all this could have been avoided; but no one knows that for sure... what we do know is that once those kids started showing, then complaining of symptoms; that’s when they should have been quarantined and avoided all contact with other teammates. Instead the coach decided to chalk it up as just a “bug” that was spreading throughout his squad…. It’s an unfortunate situation honestly; and people may or may not ever come to agreement regarding their beliefs surrounding the whole covid issue; but the main point and bottom line is; the NCAA was/is the hosting organization. And they set the rules and protocols for participation; and every team was well versed on those rules. And they all agreed to them.

They should have banned anyone who was not vaccinated from playing.

I have seen absolutely no proof that Corbin demanded NC States players be tested. He doesn’t even have the power to do that. Also, Vandys entire team was tested and they were all negative. Good grief. You guys need to settle down.

Go Vandy, bring Nashville another NC.

I guess it's Vandy's fault that the NC St players refused to get vaccinated because they're a bunch of Trump dipshits.
